  Fantastic lunch experience — Gerald was the highlight! We stopped in for lunch at the aquarium restaurant downtown and it turned out to be such a memorable afternoon. The space is beautiful in the daytime — the natural light plays off the tanks, the fish are active, and the whole place feels calm and special. But what really made it exceptional was our server, Gerald. Gerald was friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging from the moment he seated us. He guided us through the lunch menu with great recommendations and kept everything running smoothly. What stood out most was how he took the time to tell us about the fish in the tanks around us — sharing interesting little facts and making the whole setting feel more alive and personal. It was a small touch, but it completely elevated the experience and showed how much pride he takes in the restaurant. The food was fresh and well-prepared, the service was spot-on, and we left feeling like we’d had a real treat in the middle of the day. In a busy downtown spot, that level of care is rare. We’ll definitely be back for lunch again — and we’ll be asking for Gerald. If you’re heading to the aquarium restaurant, request him. He makes the place even better. 5 stars, easily.

  Dinner was delicious. If you feel like exploring, try the chef's special. Tonight's dish was Adobo Octopus Tacos. Three corn tortillas laid down to receive a bed of Cajun slaw, piled on by a generous filling of adobo marinaded octopus legs garnished with radish long shavings (probably got this wrong), and served with a side of Cajun beans and rice. My wife got the 8-9 Grilled Shrimp on a bed of Pico de Gallo, served with a side of rice and mixed vegetables. My son got a Classic Cheeseburger w/bacon, no veggies. Our Server Joshua is amazing. Was ready with drinks before I even asked. He will definitely ask if you have allergies and give recommendations. Will definitely come again.

  We had such a wonderful experience at the Aquarium restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. A special shout-out to Sandra, who was our waitress🩷 She was so attentive, kind, and thoughtful with our entire family, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit especially with understanding our laundry’s rewards. We also appreciated the gentleman who helped seat us and offered recommendations! The atmosphere was lovely, and the aquariums were such a fun touch for the kiddos🐠 It made the experience even more enjoyable for our whole family and gave the kids something beautiful and entertaining to look at while we enjoyed our meal. Great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service truly make a difference. Sandra went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for, and we are so grateful for that. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Sandra, and the entire team, for making our family outing so special! ❤️

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tyrin was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful, patient, and kind throughout our entire visit. We had a party of 12, and he was incredibly attentive. He checked on us regularly and made sure everyone had everything they needed. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which we really appreciated. The food was amazing, and the portions were huge! We definitely couldn’t eat it all. 😋 And the view of the aquarium was mesmerizing! 🐠💙 It made the whole dining experience even more special. Thank you, Tyrin, for making our experience such a great one! We truly appreciate your wonderful service and will definitely be back! ❤️

  ​Joshua at the Downtown Aquarium restaurant is hands down one of the absolute best servers you could ask for. From the moment we sat down with our service dog, his energy stood out—he carries himself with the effortless, cool presence of a total rock star, but pairs it with pure warmth and hospitality. ​As a genuine dog person, he made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed right away. On top of his incredible personality, his service is completely top-tier. He was extremely attentive without ever being intrusive; we never had to ask for a single drink refill or wait on a thing. He was always one step ahead. ​Honestly, as great as he is at taking care of tables, Joshua would be far better suited in a management or corporate training position where he can teach other staff members how to deliver this level of authentic, high-caliber hospitality. If you visit the Downtown Aquarium, ask for Joshua.
