I saw a post on social media from the owner asking advice on how to handle a situation involving a customer who ate the majority of their meal and wanted the rest boxed to go, then complained about the food and posted a bad review. The owner's post was professional, and she sincerely wanted opinions. So I invited a friend to meet there for lunch. I had the Grilled Ribeye Garlic Noodles and my friend had the Street Vermicelli Bowl with Chicken. We also had their House White Pinot Grigio.
The food was PHENOMENAL and the server was an absolute doll. I waited until we were served and sampled the food to tell her we were there because of a bad review and we had a good laugh about that. My friend and I are looking forward to having many lunches there and trying more of their fare!
Kosmik Fusion Bar & Restaurant has recently updated their menu to include more gluten-free options, and the execution is excellent. The crab Rangoon was outstanding. The kitchen also tailored their Vietnamese sampler platter to be fully gluten-free without sacrificing flavor or presentation.
The standout of the meal was an entrée the staff recommended and adapted for me: their shaken beef and arugula dish, prepared with chicken instead of beef to fit my needs. It was outstanding, well-seasoned, and clearly made with real attention to the substitution rather than a rushed workaround.
For anyone with gluten sensitivities looking for a restaurant that takes dietary accommodations seriously without compromising on taste, Kosmik is well worth a visit. Honestly, part of me hesitates to write this review, I don't want this place to get so popular I can't get a seat anymore. But they've earned it!

What a find! My husband and I tried Kosmik Fusion for the first time and it did not disappoint. Karen took great care of us and guided me toward the Shaken Beef & Arugula — not what I would have picked on my own, but I ended up loving it! My husband had the Tiger Prawns Garlic Noodles and cleaned his plate.🤤
Beyond the food, the story behind this place is genuinely amazing — it adds a whole other layer to the experience. Service was warm and attentive, and you can tell this is a local business run with real heart.
We’re already planning our return, and we’re especially excited for cooler weather so we can dig into their pho. 🍲
Highly recommend if you’re in Highland Village!

What a great find! We absolutely loved this Vietnamese restaurant. The spring rolls and egg rolls were delicious, and when it came time to order my meal, having never eaten Vietnamese food, I just asked the owner, Karen to pick something for me. I still don’t know exactly what I ate 😂 other than chicken but it was PHENOMENAL! Whatever it was, I would definitely order it again!
And then there are Kim’s (Mom’s) pastries… OH MY! ❤️ So light, fresh and absolutely delicious. Do not leave without trying one!
They also have a great beer selection and some really good craft cocktails. My favorite was the Pandan Paloma—so refreshing and delicious!
The food is wonderful, the people are so welcoming, and you can tell how much heart they’ve put into this place. Please go support this small business. We definitely want to see them stick around!
A must try—you won’t regret it! ❤️

If you are looking for gluten free Vietnamese cuisine, this is THE place!!
First of all, I'd like to share from the sign as you walk in the door:
'In Vietnamese, we don't greet each other with "How are you?" — instead we ask, "Have you eaten yet?" ... As you wait, know this: you're not about to just eat — you're about to experience the way we say "we care".'
And let me tell you... Kosmik Fusion not only cares, but cares deeply. Our server, Izzy, was so knowledgeable and kind. She not only walked my husband and I through all of the gluten free options (which is a vast majority of the menu!) but wanted to know how living with celiac has impacted my life and how I get to experience food. She was so genuine and earnest in talking to my husband and I that an already lovely experience trying foods I never dreamt I'd be able to eat (as someone diagnosed with celiac at 4 years old, well over 20 years ago) that much more wonderful.
My husband and I got the fried peanuts, rangoons, and a bowl each of their beef pho. It was all amazing, and I'm so sad that I got full so quickly because it was *that* good... but I am DEFINITELY looking forward to those leftovers!
Things to note:
•They are going through the process of updating their menus to be properly allergen labelled, BUT a majority of the menu is gluten free, aside from things like egg rolls or their banh mi. Our server also informed us that the Chinese sausage is not GF but you can sub for other meats in dishes that have it.
•They are so dedicated to gluten free, that they have 2 dedicated fryers and even make their GF wonton wrappers in house.
•They are not a nut free facility but they take care with cross contamination with all allergies & do not use any nut oils (I believe they also don't use seed oils, but I would call to make sure on that one!)
