Came in tonight to get pizza because I figured it was close by and had good reviews. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.
First, don't come here unless you're prepared to wait 30 minutes or longer.
When we walked in, I honestly thought there were no employees working. The front counter was completely empty. We stood there for at least 15 minutes before a young blonde employee finally came out to take our order. While ordering, we noticed there was a self-service touch screen where customers could place orders. That's fine for some people, but what about elderly customers, people with disabilities, or anyone who simply prefers ordering from an employee?
After taking our order, she immediately disappeared back into the kitchen. From what I could see, there were only three employees working in the back.
As we waited, several other customers came in. An older gentleman stood at the front near the pizza warmer for at least 20–25 minutes before another young employee finally came out and asked if he had been helped. If no one is going to be stationed at the front, there should at least be a bell or chime that alerts employees when customers walk in.
While that gentleman was waiting, another man came in who appeared to be picking up an order. Even he stood there for around 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged him. Both of these customers also had to wait a long time before they received their food. It wasn't just our experience—it seemed to be happening to everyone who walked in.
I understand restaurants get busy, but from what I observed, the employees didn't seem to be in any hurry. They were moving at their own pace while customers continued waiting at the front.
After we had been sitting there for about 35 minutes, my boyfriend noticed that a customer who came in after us had already received his pizza. He finally walked up to the counter to ask about ours. A young male employee helped him, and here's the unbelievable part: our pizza had been sitting in the heated warmer or on the front pickup counter the whole time. No one bothered to call our name, announce that our order was ready, or even walk a few steps over to tell us it was ready. We never left the restaurant, never went shopping, and were sitting in plain sight the entire time.
By the time we finally got our pizza, it wasn't hot at all. It was only slightly warm, looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while, and tasted old instead of fresh. After waiting over 35 minutes, I expected a hot, fresh pizza—not one that had been sitting long enough to lose its quality.
This place is all hype in my opinion. Between the lack of communication, long wait times, and poor customer service, this was my first visit and definitely my last. I won't be returning, and I'll be sure to share my experience with my family and friends so they can decide for themselves before spending their money here.
