not only is this place very and i mean verrryyy slow, they don't even have half the stuff in the store like they say on their online menu. Whoever owns this place shame on you because this is the oldest dairy queen still operating and you ruined it.

I ordered a Fritos Chili Cheese Hungerbuster and requested they put the chili and Fritos on the side. The employee told me they can't do that. 🙄 Okay, fine... Microwave ("boost") my burger and make the Fritos stale. That's sure to make folks come back. With so many locations closing their doors, one would think they'd think twice about this stuff, but alas.

My 79 year old mom was really craving a Blizzard this weekend and it was really hot at the ballpark. I checked online for hours and it showed they were open. We arrived a little after 10:30 and drove around to order and nobody came so I drove to the window. Nobody in sight. Went to the door where there was a sign showing 10:00, so I lightly knocked and saw someone duck behind the coke machine. As we were about to leave the door was unlocked by a very unfriendly woman. A good 40 minutes after the stated open time. She said they don't open if they're cleaning. All she had to do was apologize and be friendly, but she was neither. My mom is super friendly so she explained that she just wanted some ice cream. Nothing but a scowl. The lady doesn't need to work in food service because she was the rudest person alive. She made the Blizzard and shoved it toward my mom. My mom said, "thank you" and received a go to hell look in response. The Blizzard barely had anything in it and the experience was horrible. I'd never go there again if it was life or death. The only remedy would be for her to go. Sunday June 14th for reference.

I waited about 30 minutes before they finally opened the drive-thru window. The manager and another employee were inside but said they weren’t taking orders because they were doing inventory. So the store was basically closed because of that? It was frustrating, especially since they were clearly there.
After a while, the manager finally decided to take my order, but then told me they wouldn’t officially open for another 15–20 minutes. At that point, I would have been waiting close to an hour total.
This was really disappointing service. I was just passing through from another town and was looking forward to stopping at DQ, but the experience completely ruined it. Definitely not what I expected.
