  Meh…nothing to remember about this place. I came here 7/20 for dinner around 6:30 For dinner it was extremely busy. This was my first time here or to any Saltgrass. Because it was an hour wait my girlfriend and I sat at the table in the bar. It’s open seating there. We immediately found a table (very small table). The server Niko was nice and friendly. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, shrimp jalapeño bites, and we shared a 16 oz ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was salty- especially the mashed potatoes. I guess it’s supposed to be salty? I couldn’t ask the server because it was busy time. But I was not impressed for the price I paid. Our old fashioned drinks were meh.. Again nothing fantastic about this place.

  Saltgrass is always excellent. That said, our latest experience involved a reservation we had. They wanted to seat three of us at a table for eight right next to the kitchen where plates were crashing to the ground. When we asked for a more appropriate table they tried to stick us in the last table in a back room. Eventually we sat at a four place table just 10 feet from the original loud table. All in all, we waited close to 20 minutes for a reservation. It makes the whole reservation thing pointless. We saw several available tables as we bounced around. Beyond the reservation the visit was enjoyable.

  I recently visited this restaurant again after many years to give them a new chance and I was let down again. First thing was when the greeter took us to our table, I asked her how she was and her reply was... Ready to go home honestly. It was Sunday about 1pm. Not sure why she said that but not a good impression to begin with. The waiter we got took a very long time to show up and take our order, the food was far from good. In all reality we will not come back again.

  Jesus was our server. He was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive! He recommended the frozen crown and coke with an extra shot of crown vanilla on top. It was delicious!! For the appetizer he recommended these fried shrimp stuffed jalapeño peppers things. And omgee freaking amazing!! I could eat those all day! Dinner was great. Although, I expected to have the thick fresh shreds of parmesan cheese on my Cesar salad. That was my one and only little bother. A great experience! And will recommend and return to this location again soon!

  This is for regarding to-go orders. I only bothered because I had a gift card to burn, and didn't want to use the website since last time, it wouldn't let me put in a gift card until I entered my debit card, and when I did that, it just charged my card, and when I called immediately after to cancel the order, I was told there was nothing they could do (same location). That's fine, whatever. So I skipped the website when it tried this time to make me put my debit in with no gift card option just to be safe, and I called. My exact words: "hi! I was just wondering if I could place a to-go order over the phone, or if I can only do that online." I got hung up on. I figured it was an accident, or maybe some policy, so I went into the building and asked if I could place an order inside. I was told to go to the bar, so I did. I was asked once what I needed, I said I wanted to place a to-go order. I was told to wait for someone else. I waited for ten minutes while other people came up and got their orders taken, and not a single other person asked why I was there even as other people got to order before me. So I left :/ I'm sure table service is fine, but if you wanna order to-go, it really isn't worth it.
