Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The staff in drive through was extremely rude, I explained my daughter has cancer and her immune system is compromised due to the chemo and that I had a drive through order and she advised me that wasn’t her concern or “protocol” and that I had to get off and come inside regardless. The whole point of placing the order online like I did was so I did not have to do that. She could use some empathy in her life.

Came in just to use the restroom before ordering around 10pm on August 7th. The bathroom was occupied for a while and people were waiting / walking away. An employee finally came out, so I went in right after.
Within a minute or two someone knocked a few times, then stopped. While I was washing my hands, the knocking started again, this time louder and more rapid. When I opened the door it was another employee. I told him I had just walked in and that the knocking was rude and uncalled for. He immediately denied that I had just gotten in, claimed he had been standing there the whole time, and said I had been in there “for a while.” (I was in there for roughly 2–3 minutes total.) He also turned to a girl who was waiting near the bathrooms (but who wasn’t there when I first arrived) and tried to get her to back him up by asking if he had been waiting a long time. He then sarcastically asked if I was going to hurry up and get out.
Later, before I left, I tried to reach some middle ground and calmly explain the situation again. I pointed out the cameras and said they could check the footage because I had zero reason to make anything up. He responded by telling me to “go ahead and check them.”
The whole interaction was unnecessary, dismissive, and honestly just rude.

Whenever those late-night cravings hit, this 24-hour location comes through.
Honestly, the regular burger is pretty average, but the Whataburger Patty Melt is the real hero here—that’s the item to get. The fries have that great McDonald's-style texture, the food comes out fast, and parking is a breeze. Service was solid, too.

The gentleman who took our order was professional and accurate. The wait for our order was reasonable, and the young lady who brought it to us was courteous.

I am going to stop coming here. I ordered three burgers with cheese. I got zero cheese on burgers. What a waste of money. Last time I was here I told them no mustard only mayonnaise. What did I get was mustard and mayonnaise. I came back and said mayonnaise only. So the manager gave me my Whataburger took off all my vegetables and gave me a mayonnaise only burger. I said why did you take off my vegetables? He said well you said mayonnaise only. These people are not smart at all. They don’t care.
