It’s always a pleasure to shop at HEB, and I truly appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining such a high standard overall. However, I’ve noticed a recurring issue with produce quality… specifically calabaza, but also items like tomatoes, avocados, and occasionally berries that have shown signs of white mold. Over the past year, I’ve visited many times, and only on a handful of occasions has the quality consistently met expectations. I hope this is something that can be reviewed, as these are staple items for many customers. Additionally, I had a concern during checkout today. I typically use the provided meat bags to prevent any potential cross-contamination with other groceries. However, the cashier/bagger removed the protective bag and combined the meat with other items. This defeats the purpose of using those bags in the first place. I understand how busy the store can get, but proper bagging practices are important for food safety and customer peace of mind. I don’t usually raise concerns because I know how demanding retail environments can be, but I felt this feedback was worth sharing. I believe a quick refresher on bagging practices could go a long way in maintaining the great experience HEB is known for. Thank you for your time and for all the hard work your team puts in every day.

It came out beautifully and she was very patient with me. She also added small detail to the cake that made it even better! Erika will be my go to person for all my cakes! ☺️
