Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CBChris BoosSep 14, 20261.0There is a reason Whataburger is not a national chain. I am originally from Corpus Christi and have eaten at various Whataburger all my life. Generally speaking there burgers are normally terrific, great flavor and overall very good quality for a fast food restaurants. There biggest issue and it is not isolated they cannot get an order right whether phone, app, or in person you know when you get home the order will be wrong. It is pretty hard to check each item when you order especially when it it 3-4 different meals, and if you do you know what the fries and the burgers are going to taste like when you get home after they have to correct it. I have spoken to a few different Managers and to be honest 90% of their time is spent In an office and there response most of the time we are sorry but Nothing ever changes. I have come to the conclusion they simply don't care, because if they did it would have been fixed.
