Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- NSN schm1 day ago1.0Horrible service at the drive thru. Bad attitude and extremely slow. Waited 25 minutes for a cold hard burger and fries. Use to one of my favorite places.

Finally tried to help me after 8 minutes (no foh cashier or being last thought of). Took another 10 more minutes to get some fries out. For myself and the other 2 cars in their first lane. Total time waiting was over 25-30minutes. Diana, Chris and Olivia are holding this place up with customer service!!! Great job!! 6/22/26 other staff is rather rude. Can’t cook a burger to save their live or prepare it correctly, when told they will upset everyone else causing a scene. The cook, made Diana (a trainer) cry just because I got up to confront this lady twice about my uncooked burger then gave me only 5 single cuts of raw onion on my sweet and spicy the problem issnt that it was raw no, but why 5 tiny pieces? When confronted about it for the second time, I get told she said “your little friend is really pissing me off” I Don’t know her, her or him and everyone in this store personally. I’m just a hungry customer with the same expectations as everyone else. This Whataburger is a hit or miss, as of usual a miss. it’s the only thing open after hours I’ll still be coming back. Edit: I hate. I hate. I hate. hate how they have a lady with some kind of handicap walking back and forth from cashier when there is a able* man available for the drive thru. Every time I see this lady I offer a hand why can’t anyone else step up and do the same. Pathetic.
