- MHMaxx Harris1 day ago1.0Sampled a fry before pulling off to go home and they were pretty soggy which confused me cause the wait time lead me to believe they were making them fresh. I got all the way home and bit into my garden dog to find it was beef which sucks cause… well I don’t eat beef or any meat. They remade them for me when I went back which I appreciate but the whole experience kinda sucked.

Food came up quickly, and was fresh. Oh, and Ayanna was very friendly taking our order, and making sure we were satisfied with our food.

I was excited to see they have locations here in Texas and have visited several in both Chicago and the DFW area. However, my visit last week was by far the best experience I’ve had. The young lady who took my order in the drive thru was incredibly attentive and observant. She noticed that I ordered everything without meat since I’m pescatarian and thoughtfully let me know that Portillo’s fries are cooked in animal oil. I truly appreciated her taking the time to share that information—it meant a lot to me and saved me from ordering something that didn’t align with my diet. Thank you for taking such pride in your work and genuinely caring about your customers. Exceptional service like this is what keeps people coming back!
