  I came here to dine in, and unfortunately, this experience was pretty disappointing. First, when we placed our order on the computer, it never clearly showed that the burgers automatically came with ketchup, mayo, and pickles. If that had been shown, we definitely would have removed them because neither of us likes those toppings. Also, after we paid and printed the ticket, we were never given a receipt or anything that clearly showed our order number, so we weren’t even sure what we were supposed to use to claim our food. We ordered two double burgers. Mine specifically had grilled onions, and I even paid for extra grilled onions. I also substituted the regular bun for a brioche bun. However, when we received our order, neither burger had double meat, and both had ketchup, mayo, and pickles. My girlfriend decided not to complain, but I did. When I explained that my burger was incorrect, they remade it for me. Unfortunately, the replacement was also wrong. It no longer had the brioche bun, it still only had one patty instead of two, and it didn’t have the grilled onions or the extra grilled onions I had ordered. That honestly made the experience even more frustrating. I really enjoy coming here because the food is usually very good, which is why this was especially disappointing. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that, but I feel like when a customer points out an error, more care should be taken to make sure the replacement order is actually correct.

  They could learn a lot about how to operate a drive through. This is maybe the most inefficient nonsense I've ever witnessed. Tonight I pulled up to order, and the guy told me to hold a minute, then said pull up to the doors before I could even place my order. Drive around the building and there's a line of cars I have to wait to get served before I can even place my order. I waited a few minutes and drove off empty handed. This is the second time I've been to this drive through and have been directed to pull up to the double doors before ordering. What is the purpose of that when the ordering menu was working. I could see if it's out of service. The reason I go through the drive through is to save time--not sit in my car waiting for yall to get it together because you don't have your process together.

  Good Hot dog and sandwiches. My Chicago style dog was good. Would like to see a few more hot dog city styles offered. NY for one. The sausage was good. Bit burnt on the end. But overall decent. Would like to see like a deep dish pizza Chicago style sandwich with sausage and sauce and cheese on the menu. But we did enjoy it. Fries were good. Crisp and seasoned well.

  We placed a delivery order for the 1st time on Monday 8/31. We loved Portillo's & ate there often while living in Chicago. No comparison!! Our food arrived Monday & was 'ice cold'! Not even a little warm. Lord only knows how long it sat on the counter waiting to be delivered. We nuked the 4 sandwiches, but the 3 orders of fries & 1 order of Onion Rings just went to waste. The 4 lg drinks were fine, but would have been nice to have straws. The whole meal was over $80. I would suggest you save your money!!! PAG

  Please don’t bother going here to eat…it is not welcoming and it was like we were a bother to the person taking our order….trying to find a clean table or a table without trash covered floor was nearly impossible,,when I picked up our order we were short fries, and before picking our order up there were several people complaining of wrong orders. I suggested to the young mans at the counter that the restaurant was in gross condition and some time spent cleaning was needed. What we saw next was a young lady with a small container of liquid sloppily wiping it across the table. No real cleaning at all…same liquid for all the tables. Food was just as bad…sandwiches were soggy ….crinkle fries were good. No tea available…. I’m sure it was too much trouble for these lazy employees to make. We were hoping to find a new favorite place to eat, but instead we will just warn others not to waste their time! Gross!
