- YNyvonne nguyen2 days ago2.0I'm a teacher, I worked a second job this weekend to be able to splurge a little on my students and some of them pitched in for their own personal orders to celebrate their high school graduation. The total was $100+ we tipped $10 digital and wanted to give the rest of the tips in cash but the driver did not wait to make contact with me. We got 9 pizzas and 2 sides They forgot a pizza which is fine because it was a big order HOWEVER when I called instead of checking with his driver, the manager got defensive and argued that he personally counted the pizzas. Then said "I'm not calling you a liar. Maybe one of the kids took it" trying to imply that a student at my school stole a pizza. After a heated back and forth he tells me Domino's is a big company and that he can give me another pizza but that I had to pick it up. I can't do that because I can't leave the school. Just to get some answers, I emailed security who pulled up the footage of the delivery driver coming in with 8 boxes of pizza and 2 sides. The driver then delivers the final pizza 20 minutes later... Mr. Manager, I UNDERSTAND that you have other orders, I get that my order was big, I get that you only have 1 driver. NONE OF THAT IS MY PROBLEM. That is YOUR job. I wasn't yelling at you at any point. I told you I wasn't angry I was only calling to let you know a pizza didn't make it. You got loud with me before even checking with your driver. You're not getting reported because I don't believe in ruining other people's livelihoods over a petty $7 pizza, but you soured my last celebration with my senior students and I hope you take that heart and make some changes to the way you treat people!!
