  Come hungry! We ordered three adult and two kids entrees. We finished maybe half the meat and less than half the sides. Everything was great, but we made the mistake of filling up on Biscuits first because they were so good 😅. Our server (Alexa, I think) was great also. Awesome spot for a laid-back family dinner!

  Food is great, sides just keep coming, 5 protein options ( chicken 3 ways- w/ & w/o bones or roasted, chicken fried steak, or fried catfish), kids' sizes, and under 5 years old eat free, it makes this a simple, no brainer, casual sit down dinner option, especially for big parties including families. In addition to the thorough commitment to hospitality, the atmosphere shows a commitment to a bit that'll get a chuckle out of even the most stoic visitors. All this commitment comes together shiningly to provide patrons a welcoming respite. 10/10 would recommend!

  I cannot go back to this place............ The food is TO GOOD and I ate to much! Chicken is fantastic and the sides they bring out....you just cannot stop eating. Try and not eat the rolls (which they are awesome) so you can save room for their chicken!

  Our first time to eat at Babes Chicken House. Let me start out by saying they didnt give us menus. That should have been our first clue this wasn't going to be a good experience. The waitress gave us a verbal rundown of what is for dinner. Pick one meat, fried chicken, chicken fingers, chicken fried steak, or fried catfish. Salad would come with the meal. No choice for sides. They bring corn straight out of the can, green beans straight out of the can, mashed potatoes made from dehydrated potatoes, and gravy. When the salad arrives it was lettuce soaked in vinegar and sugar. No choice of salad dressing, and biscuits which were actually the best part of the meal. I chose the fried catfish. No french fries on the available, no cole slaw available, and ni hush puppies available. My friend had the fried chicken. Nothing special about the entrée. Neither of us finished our meal. Neither of us wanted a to go box. Our bill was $50.86 before the tip. I gave our waitress a 20% tip and when asked how our meal was, responded directly that I understand now why they dont use menus. Save yourself some heartburn and skip this place. So disappointed after having high hopes of finding a good restaurant here in Granbury. We eat out two to three times a week. This will never be an option for us again.
