This place was absolutely clean!!! The food was fresh. I definitely will be back.

This is my third time using the Whataburger app and ordering food. When I go pick it up and my food isn’t done correctly. I sometimes order when I’m on my way to Work to have something for lunch and then end up getting stuck with nothing because my burger is wrong. So I’ve learned to check it, Majority of the time it’s not done correctly, I have to go back in and get it remade causing me to be late to .. At this point, I think I’m just gonna stop going although I love Whataburger. And it’s not like they’re not hearing me right because I’m doing it through the app.

This Whataburger is attached to a gas station making it a convent stop while traveling through Gonzales but the owners need to manage it better.
The restaurant was clean but it seems the employees are not serving a Whataburger that meets minimum standards. I’ve eaten at many Whataburger restaurants over the last 60 years, even at the original in Corpus Christi. But this restaurant serves cold burgers that are light on the lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle.
The store employees could also be better trained on how to interact with customers more professionally.
I’ll stop there again and will report back if things improve. Come on Gonzales, you can do better. Where’s that “Come and take it” attitude?

Food was good but forgot my grilled jalapenos on my burger and waited for my order for about 25 min in the drive thru

Music was blaring (staff said they could not control it)…most of the tables we dirty from the previous patrons (not crazy busy when we were there)…was told they were understaffed…food always good…
