  Probably the slowest sonic in all of America. Even if you order ahead. They just clear your order after you check in so it doesn’t flag on their side. Every single stop here, is a regular dine in wait Time. Nothing fast about giddings sonic.

  This sonic is the worst sonic I have ever witnessed. We stop to get 2 bags of ice and it took them 30 minutes to get the ice to us. Mark went to the front of the store to ask about the ice and they told him to wait outside. The ice was sitting on the counter and they would not give it directly to him when he ask them to. So he waited outside for another 5 minutes and went back and ask the manager to give him the ice before it melts and they finally did

  Pulled up in a vehicle to big for the parking lot... got out and walked to the patio kiosk and hit the button... nothing... hit a few more times no answer... walked to one of the parking spot kiosks... nothing there either... tried another... nada... waited at each for a for a minute or so... button does not activate screen or light up... tried calling no answer... waste of time...

  Saw the negative reviews and decided to take a chance. Food was hot, order was correct, and was ready the moment I checked in with my mobile order. The only gripe I could find was that the groovy fries were a little tough, but the tots were absolutely delicious! Chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Overall, I dont know what these other reviews are talking about, will be eating here again.

  The construction can be overlooked. The thing is, I waited for over half an hour for my food and when it finally came, it wasn't my food so I had to wait even longer. After I finally got my food, I had a worker come out as I was eating and ask if I was waiting for food as though I should leave. My poor dog and I still had an hour and a half to drive home so feeling forgotten was not helpful. Being there for an hour on a day where they weren't that busy and seeing people come after me and get their food and leave while I'm still waiting was frustrating.
