  Not impressed. The food is terrible and atmosphere is strange. Like old grandmas. The calamari was clearly cheap frozen and bland. Didn’t have any of the crust advertised Thr mason jar drinks are water downed and taste bad. Sent it back My filet was okay but has a Smokey unpleasant taste and lacked flavor. The baked potato as good. My dates veal came with the worst raviolis I’ve had the sweet pairing doesn’t even make sense I don’t get.

  I really don’t think this place has great food. I have been numerous times in the last couple of years since living in Georgetown, and I’ve always been pretty underwhelmed. But I do like the atmosphere and the service is good so I always try to give it a chance. But I’m typically pretty underwhelmed with the quality and taste of the food. My husband and I went there last night for an anniversary dinner and the food was subpar. I ordered the Applewood bacon wrapped chicken Cordon Bleu, which came with rice, snow peas, and some Kalamata olive topping on top. Honestly, it was just like a pile of slop. There were so many random vegetables in the dish. The chicken was stuffed with like a cream cheese and pepper mixture and I don’t really understand why Kalamata olives were on top of the chicken. Also, my husband got the andouille sausage and blackened chicken. Again, it left a lot to be desired. Another thing I noticed, which was concerning is that the food when we cut into it was steam hot. And it came out very quickly. So it leads me to believe that they are microwaving a lot of dishes in the kitchen. Nothing tasted fresh. Everything tasted relatively old and tasteless. If anything I would only go here for drinks and dessert but the food dishes are just really not great it seems like their menu is so fast and they don’t really know a direction. A lot of their dishes come with random vegetables that just don’t have a lot of flavor. I’d go back again, maybe for a cocktail and dessert but that’s probably it.

  Always a great place to eat. We like the bar area the best but it can get crowded so we go early. Staff is fantastic and they all wait on you.

  For appetizers: definitely the scallops and a bucket of bones. From the menu, go for the bacon wrapped filet. Very high quality ingredients and great service. We are always able to get seated quickly in the bar area.
