Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I'm coming up to a year living in the area and these folks have delivered a quality experience. These folks are always helpful and the location stays clean. The food is good and currently provides overall quality/value. As a customer i am looking for a consistent great experience and these folks are delivering. I recommend this location.

My expectations were quite low because I've never really experienced great customer service at this particular Whataburger, especially late at night. However, I'd been wanting to try their new Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. When I pulled up to pay, the gentleman at the window told me there would be about a five-minute wait for the chicken and asked if that was okay. I said yes and pulled forward. It ended up taking around 10 minutes, but I didn't mind at all. As I sat there waiting for my food, I realized it appeared he was completely alone. I didn't see anyone else the entire time I was there. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. It wasn't on the receipt, but I'd like to say to the folks at corporate, or perhaps the franchise owner, that this gentleman did an excellent job. He was professional, courteous, and apologized for the wait when he brought my food out, which was thoughtful but completely unnecessary. As I mentioned, he appeared to be doing every job by himself. As for the food, it was great! I really enjoyed the unique combination of flavors. Everything was obviously fresh, and the fries were perfectly cooked and salted. This was, hands down, the best experience I've personally had at any Whataburger. I wanted to make sure Whataburger knows this gentleman did an outstanding job from start to finish. I regret not getting his name because he deserves the recognition for the excellent work he did.
