Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We also had the absolute pleasure of being served by the delightful Pamela, who treated us like royalty. When we asked for mayonnaise, she came to our table with a WHOLE TRAY of every sauce available. It was glorious. It was perfect. Great burgers, great service. And thank you, Pamela, for all the care you put into what you do. ❤️

- CSCarlisha ShepherdAug 27, 20261.0I ordered my food in the drive thru today a 6:45, I pulled into the lane with least amount of cars which was the first lane, there was a white make taking payments from cars and no one was at the window and all the cars were moving up so I assumed they were coming to all one cars he walked to every car even the one behind me and never said anything I had to call him and ask him if he forgot about me. he said no you were supposed to go to the window, I said no one was there and all the cars were moving up, he said well we didn’t ask you to move up so you have to go around and get in the line over again. I said you took everyone else’s payment you can’t take mine my food will be cold cause the line is long he said no! You need to go around and get back in line! I have never experienced so much disrespect in my life he was very rude and disrespectful! I’m a first response and was in my uniform he didn’t even want to stop was annoyed I called him . I’m very vey disappointed cause I just got done working a 15 hour shift and was tired so I just left without my food because I wasn’t going to go regret in line when he was taking everyone else’s payment!
