The True Texas Tacos concept, which H-E-B launched in San Antonio in 2018, showcases a menu of more than a dozen breakfast and specialty tacos made with the freshest ingredients. Tacos range from traditional Tex-Mex offerings such as bacon & egg and bean & cheese to specialty bites such as barbacoa and chopped Texas brisket. Customers can even get creative, mixing ingredients to make their own unique, specialty tacos. All flour tortillas are made in house and corn tortillas are available upon request. And for that extra spicy kick, there’s a salsa bar with several spicy sauces and taco-appropriate condiments.

- SCScott ChlebosAug 8, 20263.0Breakfast Tacos are excellent! Homemade tortillas and they really fill the tacos with lots of egg and meat. What is NOT good is the DoorDash service. When you order through there, it will give you an estimated pickup time, in this case for me around 27 minutes. I got there and waited another 10 minutes and finally went to the counter. They said you have to check in as a DoorDash order then they will start making the food. Are you kidding me! I waited almost 45 minutes for 4 tacos! On top of that one of the cooks said they have been fighting with IT for a month to fix it. Do better! Either 1. Turn off DoorDash until this is fixed 2. Update DoorDash to make it very clear about the fact that food will not be made until you check in or 3. Fix the system!
- AMAyan MitraJul 21, 20261.0Really horrible experience. Ordered through DoorDash 1:30. Walked in at 1:53 to pick it up. Employee immediately yelled at for putting order before closing. Refused to even make the order or cancel the order. DoorDash refused refund since they already started working on the order. Wasted an hour driving and talking to rude employees and DoorDash bots to get the issue resolved. Please retrain your employees or stop accepting DoorDash orders. This is unacceptable behavior.
