For on-the-go convenience, H-E-B Fresh Bites will offer customers an array of fresh options that go beyond offerings usually found at a traditional convenience store. H-E-B Fresh Bites locations will feature several refrigerated cases stocked with items such as fresh produce, salads, sandwiches, and sushi made daily, meat and cheese snacks, fresh-squeezed juices, and Meal Simple options. Throughout the store, customers will find nutritious and wholesome products, including H-E-B Organics and H-E-B Select Ingredients items in addition to normal convenience offerings such as soft drink fountains, beer and wine, and other snacks.
In addition to the updated layout, the Leander H-E-B Fresh Bites store also includes the company’s second True Texas Tacos location. The concept, which was launched in San Antonio in 2018, showcases a menu of more than a dozen breakfast and specialty tacos made with the freshest ingredients. Tacos range from traditional Tex-Mex offerings such as bacon & egg and bean & cheese to specialty bites such as barbacoa and chopped Texas brisket. Customers can even get creative, mixing ingredients to make their own unique, specialty tacos. All flour tortillas are made in house and corn tortillas are available upon request. And for that extra spicy kick, there’s a salsa bar with several spicy sauces and taco-appropriate condiments.

- DCDevin Cook2 days ago3.0Ordered a few breakfast tacos. The potatoes cubes tasted unseasoned and fimly undercooked, the bacon was floppy and already cut up, the salsa roja is bland and has the consistency of bbq sauce rather than a salsa for dipping chips into. Had roughly 10 people that had ordered in front of me, the wait ended up being 30 minutes. Asked another gentlemen in there with me if they took call in orders, apparently they dont. They usually have a few premade breakfast tacos but by 8am on a Sunday it was cleaned out and wasnt getting restocked anytime soon. For how great HEB generally is, it's dissapointing that that greatness didnt carry over to your bland breakfast tacos - not worth the wait.
- BBBethany ButlerMay 13, 20263.0Don't get me wrong it is really cool that HEB has a convenience store for gas and everything but people that are working inside this gas station are kind of a bit raw. Like the people that are inside they have no empathy they have no customer service they're just blah. If I point out to you that I still feel like I'm swimming to get to the toilet to go to the bathroom, I expect I'm very sorry I didn't realize it was still that wet in there will definitely get someone to address it I didn't get that and I don't understand how H-E-B doesn't have a sense of customer service in their gas station store. I haven't been to any of the other Fresh Bites convenience stores that I know are out there but I hope they're not like this one where they just are basically there and not really there to be H-E-B standards. Also it's not the first time that I felt this way while coming to this convenience store. This is just the first time I've decided to write the review

- MKMonika KeenanMar 6, 20265.0we love visiting the convenience store for the delicious tacos and donuts. its quick and easy and the staff is great. manager james was very helpful when i had place a larger family order at the kiosk. will definitely love some fresh heb tortillas.
- AWAaron WilsonJan 31, 20261.0I bought a beef fajita bowl and a beef fajita taco $12 later. I’m still extremely hungry. I guess I’ll have to go back inside the gas station and buy an overpriced candy bar or pastry to get enough calorie intake. Definitely gonna have to bring this up to management to ask for a refund. Complete waste of my time. At least I will not have to use much toilet paper.
