  The store is ok. But im very concerned!!!!!!! I see a lady ... well an older lady with health problems PUSHING CARTS!!!!! Its never the young strapping boys I always see older women doing this job and its disgusting!!!!!! The one older lady I see most i know she has health problems and she still out PUSHING carts... DO BETTER for you best employees!!!!!!!

  My wife and I shop for various grocery items at HEB's two locations in Leander atleast once a week. We have been doing so for almost 3 years now. But on one of last outings there, I saw this and had to snap this photo in disbelief! I realize as a society we love our furry friends and treat them like family. Lord knows, I am guilty of this around the dinner table! Service dogs are a true blessing for those who truly need them. Not everyone who brings their four-legged friend in to a store is a service dog! But low and behold, placing your dog into the grocery basket where I and others place our groceries i.e. fresh produce, packages of various kinds of meat/poultry/fish wants to see a dog in there! It does not bode well for the human psyche. Grocery stores need to implement a 'NO ANIMALS IN GROCERY CARTS'. It just makes common sense for all patrons who shop giving them a peace of mind and knowing that no type of physical matter will get on or into their food items. Stores are doing their part in accommodating those individuals with service dogs and making sure their shopping experience is as delightful as possible. PLEASE: NO ANIMALS INSIDE GROCERY CARTS. It's a WIN, WIN for ALL! Both HEBs are well maintained inside and out. The stores run like a fine-tuned machine. The staff are always courteous, helpful, and professional. We just need to repair this one small glitch for ALL to having an amazing shopping experience when purchasing our groceries!

  I love HEB however, the staff at this location are unpleasant. I have been shopping at this location over a year now. Baggers throw whatever products into bags mixing chemicals with food. Some cashiers dont even greet you. My main problem is the curb side shoppers. They will put their big red cart in the middle of a busy isle. You have to move around them. No "im sorry" or consideration of people shopping whatsoever. I come from south texas where the customer service is very very different. Here at this location, it's as if you're a bother.

  We found this to be a nice HEB. It seemed well stocked for the most part. Finding good shallots at any HEB is almost impossible and at the price they are charging. The prices fluctuate on a weekly basis. HEB brands are supposed to be cheaper than name brand. This doesn't seem like the case anymore. Got romaine lettuce at Costco instead. You get twice as much for the same price as HEB. We usually are good at checking the dates anymore as HEB seems to have a problem with expired items. Forgot to check the date on the box of corn chips. How do stockers miss something from July 31, 2026?! I am not an HEB hater, I just know there are better stores out there which can offer better savings. HEB is becoming just too big for themselves, they are forgetting what the "people business" really stands for.

  As a Texan, I'm a big fan of HEB. They provide clean, fair market value on basic necessities. I usually don't go to the HEB Ronald Reagan in G-Town because the last 5 times I went there, 4 times I almost got run over walking across from the parking lot to the front door. The people who regularly patronize this particular HEB are rude, uncaring for other human beings and angry. I know HEB hired a security guard and I saw him driving around his golf cart but when I went there 2 weeks ago, I didn't see him. I specifically asked my dentist to send my prescription to this HEB on Ronald Reagan in G-town because I have a client I need to see nearby. The woman who helped me at the pharmacy was not only rude, but she acted as if it was a privilege for me to be there, rather than seeing me as a customer who is patronizing HEB so she can continue receiving her paycheck. When I was in line waiting for someone to help me, this woman said, "do you want help or what?!" I told her that I'll wait for someone else because it's clear that I'm bothering her. Then she said, "whatever!" then another person in the back said, "She'll help you ma'am!" and I really didn't want her help. She was rude from the start and I don't know how she keeps her job with that bad attitude. Then I decided to pick up a few items since I was there and when I got to the cashier, she didn't greet me, she didn't even looked at me, and then when she rung up all of my items, she stood there with her hands on her waist and said, "can you see your total?" I looked around and I thought, "is there something on my forehead saying "be rude to me?" I didn't answer her, I slid my debit card and packed up my own groceries. She didn't even tried to pack my stuff. So, HEB, if you are truly reading this, y'all have to either train your staff or get ones who appreciates paying customers because after almost being run over 4 times and being treated like garbage at your place on Ronald Reagan in G-Town, I am not coming back. As a matter of fact, I'm going to start patronizing other stores because y'all have been going down hill the last 3-4 years.
