Food was fine, but the 1 star for both service and atmosphere are solely based on the manager on duty on 5/16/26 around 7:00pm. She was so bad that I am forced to post my first-ever review in hopes that someone above her takes the time to address the situation in their store. RHONDA was unbelievably rude and belittling to her entire staff, who, at the time, all appeared to be women between 18 & 25. RHONDA was also rude to customers as well. If I ever eventually come back to this location, if I see RHONDA, I will immediately walk out the door. I REFUSE to support RHONDA in any way, shape, or form. (To any regional or corporate manager reading this review: speak anonymously to each of the employees working the evening of 5/16/26 and implore them to speak candidly and honestly about RHONDA and her treatment of them as subordinates. I felt gross watching her behavior and sincerely regret not speaking up on their behalf. )

Never imagined I had to check our food. Got home and plated food to find the fry’s were raw, burgers were not how I asked for them. Called and told to bring it back, it was a 20 minute drive. Replaced and we stayed there to eat, still not the standard I expected. But I then went back to try another day and the burger was ok but again the fry’s were cold burnt this time. What is going on here.

Great food, I can't believe Whataburger still exists, competing against 5 guys, this is just not the same league.

We visited on a Sunday evening and were disappointed by the cleanliness of the location. The table was dirty, the floors were sticky underfoot, and the kitchen was visibly messy. As longtime Five Guys fans who have visited multiple Austin locations, this one stands out as having the worst environment we've experienced.

I had a very frustrating experience here. I waited over 30 minutes just for a large Cajun fries order. When I checked midway, the staff said it wasn’t ready yet and that they were still working on it. Later, when an order was finally called, I thought it was mine—but it turned out to be order number 5, while mine was number 1. That’s when I heard staff asking each other if my order had even been made. It was clear they had skipped my order completely. This is actually the second time this has happened to me. Being made to wait 30 minutes while my order is overlooked is unacceptable—especially when there were at least 5 staff members working and it didn’t seem understaffed at all. To make things worse, the fries were very soft and not crispy at all, which was really disappointing after such a long wait.
