  We ate there the other day for the first time in a long time. We had the CFS and mine was really small. I asked for another one and the waitress brought me another small one. When we got the bill, she had charged me for a child's portion CFS. If you are skimping on the portions, I won't be back

  Wonderful local chain. The homestyle approach with fixed sides and just choice of protein is a refreshing return to more civilized times. The food is consistently good though one does pay a little more for this simple luxury.

  Babes was catered at my Job. Chicken-ok Biscuits-No Flavor, No Salt- Horrible! Gravy-Horrible-No Flavor, No Salt( taste like a bowl of corn starch / Flour mush! Mash Potatoes-Really Good! Corn stuff-Really Good. Green beans -Really good! Beans- Really Good!

  My family and I live in Illinois but come to visit family in Texas and Babes Chicken is a must stop to eat every single time we are here. Service is always good, food is always hot and yummy, and good atmosphere! Will continue our tradition of eating at Babes when we visit!
