  Im sorry the food was well prepared, looked great and seemed fine, but the overall taste and quality and freshness was abysmal. The creamed spinach was coated with some thick cornstarch like substance and each dish seemed more about some thick sort of creamy but more like starchy crab and seafood mixture and NOT about the freshness and quality of the dish itself. Everything appeared fine but when tasted it was just a tourist trap. Even the key lime pie had no taste. Seriously it was just lime pudding on a hard dark crust that was not well made. I was not happy with the food at all. I won't go back.

  Absolutely outstanding Mother’s Day experience at Willie G’s Seafood! From the moment we walked in and the moms were greeted with flowers, everything was top notch. Even the hostess stand was super attentive and greeted us when we walked in (even spent time talking to my toddler) and said bye and Happy Mother’s Day when we left! Our server, Defne, was fabulous — attentive, friendly, and made the entire meal even more enjoyable. The food was superb across the board. The gumbo was delicious, and the bisque was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. We loved the fried asparagus with crab meat, the crab cakes were packed full of crab, and the Parmesan risotto was perfectly done. The Del Mar was outstanding on every level. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Willie G’s truly made Mother’s Day feel special. We will absolutely be back!

  It was a bit loud inside. Shrimp cocktail was fresh, stuffed crab shrimp were excellent. Food was a tad warm, not as hot as I would have liked and carrots were under cooked. Ambience by the water is nice. We did reservations the day before Mother's Day. Highly recommend it a popular weekend. Dishes sounded incredibly good, it was hard to choose one.

  I recently hosted a happy hour celebration at Willie G's for my son's graduation, and our group of ten had an amazing time. Alexa, our server, was exceptional! She was super attentive, patient with our big group, and genuinely kind. She kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone had what they needed. The highlight was when she brought out my son's dessert with "Congrats" written on the plate. That small gesture meant a lot and made the night feel even more special. Highly recommend Willie G's and definitely ask for Alexa if you can!

  I believe Willie G's is part of the Landry's food chain. So, we like Landry's and decided to try Willie G's. No wait bc we made a reservation. The Server was excellent, I must say. Seemed like every time I turned around, he was checking on us and bringing what we needed. Order was place right, food was good, but not as hot as I like. Food temp affects the taste of food for me. So, I gave 3 stars for that and could have give 3.5 if available. All in all, the atmosphere allowed us to have a great time! Though, I think I prefer Landry's in Kemah.
