Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    We were a large group of 15 people. They did really well trying to keep all of our orders organized. Unfortunately, since we were a big group some of our food was cold or slightly incorrect. Nothing we couldn't handle. Near by parking gave us room for our 12 passenger van and other vehicle.

    We went with family it was genuinely a terrible experience as it took 30 minutes to get our food. They didn’t even serve us what we ordered one of our burgers was a JUST A BUN WITH CHEESE when we payed for a Bacon Burger (so extra for bacon and other things and all we got was bread and cheese). Absolutely terrible experience and hurting the Whataburger brand. I do want to add that the old man who was at the cashier managing the orders was a delight and was very polite and charming. And is the only reason why the service gets a second and third star.

    I just went through the drive thru for lunch. The lady taking my order was rude, didn’t listen to my order. She got it wrong. When it was time to pay I asked for it to be repeated- we corrected my order. I then paid via credit card. When I received my order, I was not given a receipt and of course my order was not correct. How hard is it to get a #7 meal with no onions, extra pickles and a large chocolate shake?

    It was 11 o'clock and during shift change it took them half an hour to order my food. there was plenty of cars ahead of me, till three speed off after also waiting half an hour. By the time I reached the box multiple cars were still backed up to the entrance of the turn into Whataburger. A crew member came over, because she was taking trash, asked has someone answered the mic? Told her no and she went in to see what was happening. As soon as the mic person came on they said "hi welcome to Whataburger what can I get you, but can you hold on we're shift changing right now, she needs to check her drawer. That was another 10-15 minutes that went by again. Finally got to order, pulled up to the window and waited again another 10-15 minutes without anyone helping us. It was just an overall bad experience at this Whataburger.

    Mind-blowingly atrocious Went placed an online order 9:05-9:10, went inside at 9:09, guy at the front acknowledged me around 9:20 and said its being made right now. Waited for almost half an hour politely asked them to help double check, didnt come back for another 10 minutes and said someone else took it, while waving at drive through as if someone from there took it. Then tried to tell him politely that Ive been present in the restaurant for more than half an hour, what he told me was:(pointing at the kitchen) Well tell it to them. Manager came out to fix the issue of another customer and I told her my order name, she, on the other hand, pointed at the Delivery/Online order Shelf and told me someone took it from there, that they always put online orders out there. I have been checking the names of online order since I came in, so it is totally untrue as in what she told me and totally inconsistent from what the front guy told me. She then made me sign a receipt. I asked what’s it about she then told me it’ll be remade, in a rude way. The whole thing took more than an hour and the attitudes as well as their made up stories to turn you away are just insufferable.
