Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- PPpauldortAug 23, 20262.0The food was good, as usual, but the service left a lot to be desired. I went inside to order and was waited on promptly, then waited, and waited, and waited. While waiting I watched several employees that seemed to be wandering around aimlessly. Then they commited what I consider to be a cardinal sin, they served someone who came in after me and ordered the same meal first. Thankfully there's another Whataburger in town that does seem to care about their customers.
- ASAlex SanabriaAug 2, 20263.0We went yesterday (8/1/26). There were only a couple of customers inside, and the drive-thru wasn't busy at all. Even so, we waited about 25 minutes for our four burgers. The tables were dirty, and the place looks old and needs an update.
- SWSamara WakefieldJul 31, 20261.0This store shows that veterans get a free coffee, hot or cold. I am a proud vet. I went to get my iced coffee and Lee M. Was rude about getting it. Returned with an iced black coffee. OK, cool. I asked for creamer cuz of course. Lee informed me that the creamer was put up at breakfast. Ummmm... they still had coffee to serve so if you want coffee after breakfast. Cool, but no cream for you. Texas needs to work on their manners and how they treat veterans.
- HOHope OwingsJul 23, 20261.0The small lady working overnights is so incredibly rude & kept slamming the window doors in our face while trying to attempt to pay her. She has absolutely no idea what friendly customer service is. I watched her be just as rude to a woman who was trying to get her Dr Pepper replaced because the syrup was out. Our Dr Pepper was just as bad. I’ve been in food service for over 10 years & I’ve never been so appalled by a Whataburger employees behavior or service. She was extremely agitated for seemingly no reason. Would 10/10 not recommend this location. When we told her the Dr Pepper was bad, she responded nastily, with “ what do you want?” I’m just so disappointed with this experience.
