  Probably the best meal we had on our recent trip to the USA. Great decor, buzzy atmosphere, cheap Margaritas during happy hour. And the steaks were good too. Although why do Americans insist on putting that peculiar orange cheese on top of the salad ??

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Saltgrass Steak House in Galveston while celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary! 🥂 Matthew Cain went above and beyond to make our evening special. He thoughtfully prepared a beautiful table with flowers and a card signed by the entire restaurant crew. That personal touch meant so much to us. The whole team created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we truly felt cared for and celebrated. The food was wonderful, but the exceptional service and kindness made the evening unforgettable. Thank you, Matthew, and the entire Saltgrass crew, for making our anniversary so memorable. Five stars for Saltgrass Galveston! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful experience at Saltgrass Steak House in Galveston while celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary! ❤️🥂 What stood out most was the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Matthew Cain, who works at Saltgrass and was actually part of our church youth group years ago when Jay was a youth minister, went above and beyond to make our evening special. When we arrived, Matthew had a beautiful table waiting for us with gorgeous flowers and a card signed by the entire restaurant crew. 🌸❤️ The thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly touched our hearts. The entire Saltgrass team helped create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s one thing to receive good service, but it’s something completely different to feel genuinely cared for and celebrated as a guest. Thank you, Matthew, and thank you to the entire Saltgrass crew for making our 30th anniversary so memorable. The food was wonderful, but the outstanding service and kindness are what we’ll remember most. Five stars for Saltgrass Galveston! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Had a wonderful experience last night for dinner. Our server Nicholas...beyond words! Great atmosphere and great views! A collection of historical regional decor paired with an awe-inspiring view of the Gulf. Entrees included a filet, cooked perfectly, sweet potato and the Oscar Salmon with perfectly fried Asparagus, smoked Mac n cheese and their chicken tortilla soup. Everything was simply delicious. The potato could have been cooked a bit longer, but that is just a side note. Added a tall beer to the tab for a total around $85. Thrilled to have chosen this location for our dinner experience! As a side note, Nicholas is a proud local and quite honestly, one of the better servers I have experienced! Hats off!

  Bar with 5 employees all talking among themselves. Stood there for a minute or two. The male bartender with the cross earring was extremely helpful after acknowledgement. Server came by and took my order. I asked for smothered steak ~4 dollars). Server, Sade?, stated I'll just put it on there, don't worry about it. Insinuating free add on? Ok cool. She comes back and my order went from 30 bucks to 40 bucks. She put something 2x as much as my "smothered steak" add on and then said someone else must have uplarged it... Really? You're literally the one who put the order in. Food was good. Service was lame.
