We loved it! This is a great place to take the kids and cool off during vacation. It has AMAZING air conditioning. The ride was so fun for our 3 year old. The woman at the ride check in was so nice and friendly. (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name.). Vanessa was our server and was amazing! She knew the menu front to back. Overall service and atmosphere were as great. The owners could put some efforts into cleaning up the bird mess in the front entrance but I'm sure the birds make that a constant pain so it's understandable.

This was such a fun, unique experience. We paid to do the extra river ride and all thought it was worth the money. The atmosphere is lively and noisy with Jungle sounds. The food was, hands down, some of the best food any of us got. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and even gave tips for Galveston exploration. It is expensive, but the experience and food was worth it for all of us. It was such a fun experience that I forgot to take pictures 🤦🏻♀️ I do recommend going outside of normal meal times. We went around 2:15 and only had a 10 minute wait.

We had a wonderful experience at Rainforest Cafe, and a big part of that was because of Albert! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived. He made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our entire visit. What really stood out to us was that Albert also spoke Spanish, which was such a wonderful touch for my husband and our Spanish-speaking friends. He was patient, kind, and made everyone feel included and well taken care of.
Excellent customer service like this truly makes a difference. Albert went above and beyond to make our experience special, and we really appreciate his kindness and professionalism. Rainforest Cafe is lucky to have someone like him on their team!
Thank you, Albert, for making our visit such a great one. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well, that was an interesting first visit.
When we arrived, I specifically asked for a booth, which we got. Our waitress came over, introduced herself, and told us she’d give us a little time since it was our first time there. Totally reasonable. I asked for some water, and she said, “Yeah, in a minute.”
Apparently, “in a minute” means never, because we never saw her again. Not once.
Eventually, a different gentleman came over and took our order. Then he disappeared too. Someone else brought our food. Yet another person brought the bill.
No one checked on us. No one asked if we needed anything. No one came by to see how the meal was.
I’ve never experienced service quite like it.
We left wondering what exactly happened. Unfortunately, the service—or complete lack thereof—was enough to make this a one-time visit.

We had an amazing staff working that day, including our server Robyn. The food that we ordered came out in the correct order, service was swift, she checked on us multiple times to ensure that we were ok and had everything that we needed, and the volcano dessert was amazing!! This particular location in Galveston, Texas also has a Ride attached to it where you’re basically riding in a tube through the rainforest. Everyone in my family thought that the ride was such a cool experience and worth the couple dollars each. The best part about it was that our server checked to make sure that the ride was staying open until we were finished, and in fact, everyone was finished with their food. I would highly recommend this location and our server!
