Just got done with Rainforest Cafe, and this is by far one of THE BEST family friendly restaurants that spawn on this world. If I didn’t knew this place existed, then I would have spent the entire time of my childhood eating pizza from Chuck E Cheese or spaghetti and meatballs from Fazolis. It was so crowd today that the A restaurant that literally spawn fun at least like every couple literally got me all excited for every animal animatronics and thunderstorms that comes in every 15 to 45 minutes. Every single food was even fantastic as we had an amazing appetizer platter. Some of us had the island steak and shrimp plate, and I had the mojo bone plate which was incredible. We had even had photo taken by a photographer who gave us the photo and we of course had to buy it. Me and my sister got specialty drinks and the best part is that we get to take home our souvenir cups back home to Las Vegas. And let’s not mention that ya boy got himself some merch to cherish this moment forever. That said, everything lands here. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the entire vibes of this restaurant roars fun for all kids and adults. I am five years old again, and a huge thanks to Mario Panov for providing us with marvelous hospitality.

I’m giving it 3 stars ONLY because of the atmosphere and waiter we had (I unfortunately forgot his name). I don’t know what everyone else that rated this place 5 stars for the food ate but I wish we would have ordered that. The black beans that came with the pork chops were terrible omg. My pork chops were just okay and only were good with this sauce that came with. My husband couldn’t even eat the pastalaya dish he got it was terrible as well. The waiter even noticed he wasn’t eating it and offered to take it off the bill which was really nice of him.
Bottom line is you come here for the experience and atmosphere. Not the food.
On another note ride the ride while you wait to be seated! It was a fun way to pass the time with the kids without having to promise to buy them the overpriced toys in the store :)

To be honest, the experience at the venue itself was wonderful. The only downside was that, upon our arrival—we had a reservation for 1:30 PM—we were running a bit late because we struggled to find parking in the Rainforest lot; many people heading to the beach were parking there. At the entrance, a young man wearing glasses was on duty. We explained the situation regarding our late arrival, and he asked us to wait—which we did without complaint, happily spending the time admiring the exterior, taking photos, and enjoying the attraction. However, when we checked back in, he told us he could only offer us a table in the bar area. This annoyed us a bit, as we had traveled a long way and didn't want to end up sitting at the bar. Naturally, and respectfully, we requested a table in the main dining area. He told us he could accommodate the change (though he seemed a bit annoyed about it), so we waited until 3:30 PM until a table finally became available. He then escorted us to the table and asked sarcastically, "Is *this* table okay? Anything else?" He said it in such an unpleasant manner that, naturally, it left a bad taste in our mouths. My point in sharing this is to say that we fully understand the restaurant's high demand and its reservation policy; we were perfectly willing to wait—that wasn't the issue—but rather the way we were treated as customers. Aside from that incident, the rest of the experience was marvelous; our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredible. We felt extremely well-attended to and never lacked for anything at any point during our visit. This incident occurred on May 9th; the reservation was under the name Santiago. The last thing I want is to cause trouble for the individual who displayed that attitude—after all, if he works there, he must be an excellent employee, and we all have bad days or get stressed out. However, it wouldn't be right for him to treat anyone else that way in the future, as the restaurant and the overall experience are truly wonderful.
Though I have passed by it many times, I had never felt any inclination to visit Rainforest Cafe. It just always seemed too gimmicky and touristy. Well, I received a couple Landry’s gift cards and it was my kid’s birthday, so we decided why not try it. The enter and exit through the gift shop was just about what I expected, and the decor in the dining area was exactly as pictured, but what caught me off guard was when the food came out. I ordered the Taste of the Island plate, and it was a wonderful platter of really amazing food! Coconut shrimp, fish, veggies, rice, and every bit was so flavorful. My wife ordered the Bimini Chicken, and it was just as good. Two big, breaded chicken breasts, that were extremely moist and tender. My wife couldn’t finish it, so I ended up cleaning the plate for her 😄 The kids plates were, well, kids plates. One of the kids got fish, which was pretty decent for a child, while the other got Dino chicken nuggets lol. We also took the time to ride the river boat ride, and while a bit aged, it was a really fun memory to make with the family. Overall, Rainforest Cafe really exceeded my expectations and I recommend it to anyone.
