  La King's! Bestest on site small batch HOMEMADE candy from Master candy maker Ernest Torres. I especially love the "creams"! Taffy made in front of you all day long, then cut and wrapped for sell. Soda fountain serves "Purity Ice Cream"-Texas's oldest ice cream brand; founded 1889 in Galveston. Delicious! And small-batch coffee roasted from Duncan Coffee Beans. This is THE PLACE for homemade SWEETS! Best munchie place in the Houston area! You will enjoy your visit!!

  I love this price. I drive 11 hours for vacation as an excuse to come here. Want a suggestion on what to try? Try it all!!! The prices are a bit high, but can you name a candy store that isn't? They have hand crafted sodas and that's a rarity especially this good!

  I had an amazing experience. I used to come as a kid all the time with my parents and get a shake and candy or popcorn. The nostalgia that hit when I walked through the door was uncanny. I enjoyed a coconut creamy frappe absolutely divine. The taffy show was spectacular! We enjoyed the candy bar and my kids had ice cream as well they said was super delicious. Can’t wait to be back on our next visit. The salt water taffy is 10/10! Must buy! Chefs kiss on customer service! Felt like home! Thank you to all at La kings!

  Great vibe but super packed and my cashier wasn’t the friendliest. However my sister and cousin had a much more friendly cashier. The candy and icecream we got were great but packaging for candy wasn’t good. My fudge was put in a brown paper bag . The fudge was soft and stuck to the bad really bad. My sister and cousins fudge was pit in wax paper or parchment paper and they did not have this problem with theirs. Very disappointing to spend almost $50 and have it all stuck to the inside of a paper bag by the time you get home. Everything we purchased there tasted amazing. And I love that they had sugar free candies!

  This place is awesome. This employee here helped us out. I forgot his name went in there. I didn’t know what I wanted. Told him to give me whatever he thought was the best tasting ice cream and he recommended cheesecake strawberry I think He was very helpful, great attitude, even though the other employees look very busy working but willing to answer your questions. I also had a root beer float, which was amazing. Definitely be back there. Thank you for the great experience and awesome sweets.
