  I am so glad we decided to stop here. The Joe’s in northeast Ohio closed years ago and I was never impressed. This location however is the best. The food was seasoned to perfection and we were blessed with an awesome server named Morgan. She was new but on top of her game. Juan at the bar and Hermes were wonderful too. Shout out to Justin the manager as well. When we come back to Galveston, we’ll definitely stop back in.

  We love this place. The servers are always awesome. Today the corn was under cooked. Never happened before. They did bring us replacement corn, but still under cooked. Otherwise a great place for crab. We will definitely be coming back for more crabs. Cheers

  Today we visited Joe’s Crab Shack, and I can honestly say that we had one of the BEST restaurant experiences of our lives—and it was all thanks to our incredible server, Hermes! In all my years of going to restaurants, I have NEVER received service as exceptional as the service Hermes gave us today. From the moment he greeted us, his energy, personality, and incredible attitude made us feel truly welcome. He took the time to explain the entire menu, gave us amazing recommendations, suggested some of the best dishes and drinks, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. But what made the experience even more special was his personality—he was funny, charismatic, entertaining, and always came to our table with the biggest smile. Every time he approached our table, he brought positive energy and made us laugh! The biggest surprise was when he brought us special personalized bibs with funny sayings made specifically for each one of us. We couldn’t stop laughing! Then he brought out the crab tools, making the whole experience even more fun and memorable. Hermes is not just a server—he is someone who truly knows how to create an unforgettable experience for his guests. You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in making people happy. If you ever visit Joe’s Crab Shack, do yourself a favor and ask for Hermes! I promise you that you won’t just have a meal—you’ll have an AMAZING experience! Joe’s Crab Shack is lucky to have someone like him on their team. Hermes, never change, my friend!   I brought my fur baby and they let us sit on the patio. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Melissa, our server, immediately brought out a bowl of ice water for my dog and greeted her in the most friendly way possible. My dog doesn't take very well to new people but she took to Melissa right away. The patio was adequately ventilated for a warm and muggy day. (I don't always tolerate the heat very well but I was comfortable.) The food was terrific and they even let me order a full meal for my dog. We will be returning on other trips down here.

  We had a fantastic time at Joe’s Crab Shack, and Paula made the whole experience amazing. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, super friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. She gave great recommendations on the menu, kept our drinks full, and handled our table with effortless efficiency. You can tell she truly cares about giving her guests a great experience. If you’re heading to Joe’s Crab Shack, definitely ask to sit in Paula’s section, she’s wonderful!
