  We made a reservation to make sure we were able to be seated in a timely manner, and we were. However, the appetizers arrived with the meal, the vegetables were mixed up on our plates, my plate of the catfish special with red beans and rice didn't even look appealing, so it was sent back, and the side of hushpuppies was cold and dough-y so they were sent back as well. They had a sign out that they had crawfish, so my son ordered that, then the waiter came back and said they were out so he had to order something else. I ended up without a meal PERIOD. I will not be back. Oh! And it cost $15 to park at the restaurant. $165 for 3 meals with iced tea. We won't ever come back. UPDATE-I provided feedback per the owner's response but I'm seriously not expecting anything to come of it. I also forgot to add that the patio tables were not cleaned right away so the seagulls were throwing food all over the place. It's a shame because we wanted to share this place with our children. My husband proposed to me here 18 years ago. 🥺

  This place was really cool. The server was awesome. I'm from originally the West Coast never been out to Texas. My dad suggested this place. He said the food was great. I totally lived up to the expectations he said. Our server was the sweetest person I met since I've been here. Excellent service. Highly recommended. Will be back the next time I'm in Texas.

  First time in Galveston. I don’t remember the last time I cleaned my plate at restaurant! I had the fish and chips and initially thought I would have leftovers but by the time our waitress came over my plate was spotless. Same thing happened with the strawberry cake dessert. Really do get the strawberry dessert! My friend and I are still talking about it! Our waitress, Kehlani, was an absolute delight! Perfect in terms of helpfulness and attentiveness with such a lovely disposition. Also, I don’t remember the last time I was so impressed by a waitress. View was great, service top-notch, and the food will make you clean the plate! Wonderful experience to cap off my Galveston visit!

  This place is perfect for sitting on the upper deck and watching the waves while eating and having a drink. It isn't noisy like a lot of places in Galveston. It is across from the pleasure pier and great for people watching also. Sometimes you can see the dolphins come up to the pier

  We waited 40 minutes to be seated upstairs. Not a problem. We sat at the bar ordered drinks and a starter. When were were seated for our meal we ordered our drink and entree. After we received our drinks we never saw our waitress again. I called the restuarant to ask about our order. The person at the desk came up and talked with us. Moments later our order came but no explanation or any apology. Waitress very prompt with the bill so we could pay.
