  In the nicest way possible, is everyone at this restaurant completely lost? Every employee who came to our table acted like they expected us to do their job for them. No one seemed to know what was going on. We sat for over 20 minutes before anyone even greeted us or took our drink order. I had to get up multiple times just to ask someone to help our table because we were consistently being overlooked. At one point, I genuinely considered going into the back and doing it myself because it felt like no one knew what they were supposed to be doing. The staff spent more time wandering around than actually helping customers. The best way I can describe it is that the lights were on, but nobody was home. Food was good!

  Me and my family came down to visit the Galveston Beach. We were enjoying the ocean until we were warn by the Life Guard that it would be in our best interest to take shelter because there was lighting near by. So we decided to come here and give this place a try. It have an energized atmosphere, the service is phenomenal. However the problem I have with this place is the food. First off what we order shouldn't have taken 45mins. It was seven of us 5 order the same thing rice, barkley and fish, then shrimp & salad and I ordered the southern, chicken salad ! Now because it was busy I gave it a benefit of a doubt that maybe because its a restaurant there is numerous of things that could happen behind the scenes that could cause a delay from us receiving our food. I understand things can happen I get it, so we waited. Expecting our food to come out great. However my salad came out with two little pieces of eggs !!!! Chicken pieces broken up on top of the salad ! Very little cheese, very little cucumber ! Very little dressing ! I was furious ! Frustrated ! Smh !!! Well a leasr my family enjoyed their food !

  We had an amazing experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on the Galveston Pleasure Pier, and our server, Dylan, made it even better! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He checked on us often without being intrusive, made excellent recommendations, and had such a positive attitude that it made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, but Dylan’s outstanding customer service is what really stood out. It’s rare to find someone who is so personable, professional, and passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience. If you’re visiting Bubba Gump in Galveston, I highly recommend asking for Dylan. He truly went above and beyond and turned a great meal into a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!

  The calamari was fried a little bit more crispy than I like, therefore I did not eat it. My crab and shrimp roll was tasty the bread was delicious that it came on and it was well seasoned. My son enjoyed the shrimp scampi and we did not need a to go box. The food was a good portion size for us after we had a day full of adventure and was ready to fill our bellies. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful for our party of 6 (so sorry I cannot remember his name to give him credit on Friday, July 3rd evening between. 4 - 5 pm).

  First time going to bubba gumps. Always heard from family and friends that it was good and fun! So we were excited to try it. Well we got there, got seated pretty quick which was nice, but then the servers took forever to come around. Then they showed up, and got our drink orders. Then back 15 minutes later with those. The manager came by and introduced herself, said she would be back by to check on us…. Never happened.. We finally ordered our food, and I kid you not, it took 55 minutes for our food to come out!!! It was crazy!! Half of our party’s food was cold. Couldn’t say anything or complain about it because the server was no where to be found so we sucked it up and ate what we could and left. Literally the worst $98 bucks on food I have ever spent!!! Look somewhere else to eat when in this area!
