Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’ve given this Whataburger more chances than I probably should have because it's so close to my house. I order the same #4 meal each time, so there isn’t much mystery about what I’m asking for. Unfortunately, this location has consistently struggled with the basics. The drive-thru has historically been painfully slow. It has gotten noticeably faster recently, but that improvement seems to have come with a new problem: the food is now arriving cold. On my most recent visit, the meal was cold enough to be unpleasant, and I became nauseated afterward. I can’t say what caused that, only that it happened after eating this meal and was enough to make this my last visit. Communication at the drive-thru speaker was also difficult. The employee taking the order simply wasn’t communicating clearly, making what should have been a straightforward fast-food order unnecessarily frustrating. The pricing itself is fair, and I’ve always liked Whataburger when the food is prepared properly. The problem here isn’t the brand or the menu. It’s execution. Faster service doesn’t mean much if the food reaches the customer cold. After repeatedly giving this location another chance, I’m done. There are too many other places nearby that can serve a hot burger through a drive-thru without turning it into an ordeal. I won’t return to this location.

I was getting a drink, and one of the drink dispensers sprayed at me, and the carbonation got onto my skin and clothes. I was upset because I got wet, and I just thought the thing was broken. I saw a team member come out, so I told him, "Hey, this just sprayed onto me. Is it broken?" He proceeded to say yes, but then said, "Oh, the nozzle isn't on," so I just went, "Oh, I see that. Can someone put the nozzle on then?" I wasn't being rude; I was just looking out for the next guest so that they don't end up getting sprayed. The team member looks at me and goes, "Okay, just chill down," motioning his hands downward. This kinda ticked me off because I wasn't even upset at the team member or showing any signs of frustration; yes, I was slightly annoyed, but not at the workers. I have worked in food service, and that is one way not to respond to a guest. I think it was handled very poorly, crew-wise. I understand that food service is a hard job, stressful, and such but you don't tell a customer to "calm down" when they are acting calm and just telling the worker, "Hey, you guys should probably put the nozzle on." Moving forward, I told the manager what happened, and he was really nice and apologized for the situation. I told him exactly what happened and that I wasn't upset at them whatsoever; it was just that the spraying got to me a bit. But he was really nice, so thank you for showing me empathy, sincerity, and understanding! I usually go to this Whataburger a bunch, never once had a terrible experience, but this just made me kind of disappointed. I will still be ordering from here because I like Whataburger, but this was just a very disappointing experience. Thank you for the extra goodies! And I just want to say thank you to everyone who works in fast food because I understand that it's really hard and stressful, but at the end of the day, you still have to keep it professional no matter what.

This location was very unorganized in the drive thru this evening 08/17/26. They leave customers unattended and waiting for long EXTENDED periods of time. No apologies or acknowledgment. Please take notes from ChicFilA on better organization and friendlier customer service.

Ordered thru door dash. They here was nothing wrong with the delivery however the quality was less poor. It was a sweet and salty burger. It was so full of grease it could not be picked up and eaten. Even the wrapper it was wrapped in was slimy! Someone is supposedly addressing my concern but 24,hrs later, norhing

to be honest with you if Miah baker is working I don’t recommend going to this location because she is very disrespectful. I’m trying to press this issue so she can get dismissed so people like me don’t have no problems. She talks about the customers and harassed me she texts me on instagram sending me pictures of myself and messages me. If Miah baker is still working and not fired after my complaint AND review I don’t recommend going ! because this clearly means Whataburger doesn’t truly care about how the customers feel.
