Their customer service is terrible. I called when I got my food inside the bags. I took my sandwich out and my hands were covered in cheese and so was the beef sandwiches and when I spoke to the manager, he said there was nothing that he could do then two weeks later I got the food again and sandwiches were completely destroyed again. The manager said there was nothing that he could do their managers do not know how to handle customer service. It makes me not want to go to that particular Portillo‘s. I’d rather go to the one in the colony.

My children and husband visited for the first time today after my son received a gift card for work he did for a neighbor. Upon arrival, we found the gift card did not work despite us checking the balance beforehand. My husband ordered meals anyway (which according to my family were absolutely delicious) and came home to tell me about the card. I called in to the location, where the employees answered kindly and directed me to Morgan the manager to resolve the gift card issue. Morgan was kind and patient and directly contacted guest services on my behalf. It was a $15 dollar gift card, so realistically hardly worth the effort, but my son worked hard for it and I was grateful she went above and beyond. Guest services sorted out the gift card situation and we will absolutely be back. A company is only as good as the people who work for it and I think this particular location is fantastic! Highly recommend.

Fast food at sit down restaurant prices. I've tried it 3 times. Once in Allen, near work. I loved (and still do) the onion rings. But, I wanted to try a hot dog but have a poppy seed allergy...the seeds are on all HD buns & no good sub. I got the HD on a hard roll of some kind & it just wasn't good...too much bread & not soft at all. Next, I tried the free grand opening night near my house. Again, got onion rings because they are hot & delicious & tried a chicken sandwich. It was just OK. It was the fried one. Next time I tried dine in & got a bacon CB w/ BBQ sauce w/ onion rings. An expensive choice and it was so rich (too much sauce, too much cheese, kinda greasy) I couldn't finish it. I don't think I'll be going back except DT to pick up onion rings occasionally. Oh...I usually eat pretty clean so this isn't my normal, in case you're reading to decide if YOU would like it. Maybe it would be perfect for you.
I recently had an issue with my first order at this Portillo’s, and after calling to let them know about the situation, Jason, one of the managers, completely turned the experience around. He was incredibly customer focused, kind, and genuinely caring while resolving the issue. I really appreciated the warm and professional way he handled everything and the effort he made to ensure my future experiences would be much more pleasant. In today's climate, great customer service like that definitely deserves recognition. Thank you again, Jason!
Love Portillo’s. Been a loyal customer for decades, since before they were even a chain. Excited to see more of them popping up.
Highly recommend the burgers and the big beef sandwich. I also highly recommend you try the big beef sandwich with sport peppers, that’s been my lifelong go-to order. I rarely come out to this area anymore, but when I do come just know I’ll be visiting.
Mostly because this is probably the only good foot in the providence village/aubrey area. I know it’s not technically either of those towns but, if you’re there this is the only place within driving distance worth going to since both those towns are watery sewage holes.
But also because I just love Portillo’s. It’s impossible not to love. If you haven’t tried it, definitely recommend you try it. Especially if you live in one of those middle of nowhere towns out here, 0 better options lol.
