As a long-time customer of Market Street, I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent changes implemented by the store. Over the years, I have consistently spent approximately $600 per week at Market Street. The store’s reputation as a reliable and customer-friendly establishment was built on the exceptional service provided by its staff, the cleanliness of the store, competitive pricing, and the quality of its deli and bakery offerings. The store’s “buy one, get one free” promotion and other customer-centric initiatives further solidified its position as the premier grocery store in the area. However, the recent changes have had a detrimental impact on the store’s reputation. The introduction of the app, the relocation of registers, and the implementation of a self-checkout system have all contributed to a decline in the overall customer experience. Furthermore, the reduction of the store’s operating hours to 9:00 pm if you prefer a Market Street employee to scan groceries and sack them, leading to a subsequent shift to a self-checkout model have resulted in a significant inconvenience for customers. During my recent visit to Market Street in Frisco, I witnessed firsthand the negative consequences of these changes. Despite having a substantial shopping cart filled with groceries, I was forced to spend an excessive amount of time scanning and bagging my purchases, while store managers remained indifferent to the situation. In light of these developments, I have decided to discontinue my patronage of Market Street and switch to HEB, which maintains a more extended operating hours and provides a more efficient shopping experience. At least they keep employees on registers until 11:00 pm. I urge the store management to reconsider their decision and implement changes that prioritize customer satisfaction and preserve the store’s reputation.

The cake decorating in the bakery at this location is extraordinary! I order cakes for work functions and always have people asking, who made this cake? Not only are the cakes beautifully decorated, they are always fresh, the best frosting and ready on time. I highly recommend this bakery!!

I tend to judge a place by how clean their bathrooms are. If the restrooms aren’t clean or don’t have the basic supplies customers need, it really makes me question how clean and sanitary things are behind the scenes. I’ve also personally seen employees use the restroom, barely wash their hands, and then go right back to work, which is honestly concerning. The condition of the bathrooms has been consistently unpleasant—often there’s no toilet paper in multiple stalls, visible poop on the toilet seat, mess in the seats, and the floors and stall walls are dirty like nasty. On top of that, the overpowering artificial scent mixed with the unclean environment just makes the whole experience worse. It’s hard not to feel put off when something so basic isn’t being maintained properly.

Need a new person at the drive up window!!!!! I’ve waited in line over 10 min each time I went there today. Absolutely ridiculous. Half my lunch hour gone waiting in line. Need to make a change. It was never this bad.
