- EMErica Martinez5 days ago2.0My last couple of visits have been truly disappointing. An outing for my family of 4 is easily a few 100’s of dollars here and the service and quality of equipment falls really short of my expectations for the charge I’m paying. Our bowling shoes were disintegrating in our hands literally! Once I put them on the sole came apart and I had to go get a new pair and I was given another disintegrating pair, the employee said all shoes were in that condition. Do better Main Event Frisco! The service to get food was terrible, 45min for someone to come take our order, and another 45min for food to come. By the time food came out our 1hr of bowling was done and we had to move to the billiards area and from there we had zero service from anyone. It didn’t even look busy either. The arcade area was a total scam, a lot of games were taking our credit and they were not functioning. Spent $200 on game cards for my kids to end up claiming a couple pieces of candy after redeeming their points, such a joke! We told a few employees about the games not working and no one cared, mind you they are mostly teens. Not an actual adult looking manager running that place.

But we had a wonderful time this time. We enjoyed thoroughly this time. I would like to appreciate and thank the party host Mr.Darren, for making our party a great. He was continuously with us and arranged all the things we asked within no time, without any hesitation. Because of Darren our party was great. Thank you Darren M. Food was good, atmosphere was good. Due to Darren's experience, everything was arranged properly on time I will suggest Main Event to everyone.

When we asked they turn it to a live game we were told no because someone may be watching it for the first time. After a little push back they agreed to change the channel. Thats when they told us they do not have access to SEC. Pretty cheap of main event to not have SEC when most major schools in Texas are in the SEC. The request obviously upset the staff. Our server was more concerned with rolling silverware than she was our table. Again this was at 7 pm on a Saturday night. Food was good. Overall subpar experience for the $300+ we spent on a family 5. They were also out of almost all draft beer. Pretty sad outing to be honest we left feeling pretty ripped off.
