H-E-B opened its second store in Frisco on 8/7/24, continuing its expansion in the DFW Metroplex. The store is located at HWY 380 and FM 423 and serves residents in eastern Denton County.
“This new store will build on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this dynamic and growing part of Texas,” said Mabrie Jackson, senior director of public affairs for H-E-B.
Proudly serving communities across the state since 1905, H-E-B is committed to the DFW area for the long term and hopes to serve even more of the Metroplex in the future.
Sunday morning, one checkout lane open. The line backed up fast, pushing everyone to self-checkout with carts full of dozens of items — exactly what self-checkout isn't built for.
What made it worse: instead of opening another lane or helping bag, an associate walked the line telling customers to relax. Not helping. Just telling frustrated people to calm down.
Staffing is a management decision. Telling customers to relax about it is a choice too. Horrible experience.

😒 I'm so dissapointed in the Southwest Style Tortillas purchased at this location because normally they are the same size, and density but this time, I noticed "oblong" shaped ones, super thick "lopsided" ones, a couple with dried white flour on them. What happend???😳

Returned a watermelon that was soggy immediately after cutting it. Returned the item but, it was a challenge although, we requested an even exchange. I was asked for a drivers license. It was presented to the gentleman. He asked, why didn’t I have a Texas license. He also asked if I had the credit card or proof of payment. I explained to him that it was an exchange and that it was purchased along with other items by my ex, he then asked me if I could call him to provide info on how it was purchased! I felt criticized and disgraced and I now no longer enjoy shopping at H-E-B. It was my favorite shopping store for grocery.

The best HEB in North DFW metro! Super friendly and helpful staff, always a great selection, a complete tortilliera, Sushiya, True BBQ, and large meat section - they have everything we need!
We also really love the HEB brand items like Creamy Creations, Cafe Ole, snacks, paper products, dairy, cookies, uncured deli items, and pastas! Baking ingredients - like Organics flour, sugar, and bread flour - are high quality and dependable.
The layout of this store is easy to follow and I love the seasonal approach to the products they carry throughout the year.

Really disappointed with the internal departments’ communication between shifts about orders. Twice now in two separate departments, I’ve placed an order. One for balloons (super simple, 9 balloons, already paid and had them picked out. Normal pink and white balloons, nothing crazy-back in May). And I also placed an order most recently yesterday for pick up today (7/29/26) in the deli department. Both times, they didn’t even begin making the order until I arrived at the pickup time. These instances make me late for work each time because I’m counting on them to have integrity and have the order ready to go at the PICK UP TIME. If you’re considering placing an order here I recommend either not choosing HEB altogether, or to place your order to be ready a half hour before you actually need to leave, and make sure to call and confirm a half hour before the pick up time to make sure that it’s ready. Otherwise they most likely don’t even know your order exists until you arrive or call in the day of. Incredibly disappointing.
