Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Have visited this Waterburger for some time, off and on. Never been very impressed with the service till recently. Seemed like the previous employees were trying to destroy the company from within. HOWEVER, recently (2Jul26) the service has really made quite a change. It seems to have had a management and employee turnover for the better. They called me by name in the drive through, service was fast and people were warm. The food was on point as well. I'll be making more frequent visits.

We got onion rings instead of fries due to my previous experiences stated below and was truly disappointed. The oil was rancid (old) and made the onion rings have a bitter aftertaste. Even my teenager spit it out (and he eats everything). As for the burgers, they were fine, made the way we ordered. Hoping management reads this and change the oil more often.
For some reason I never get fresh made French fries here. They seem like they are pre-made and sitting under the heat lamp for some time as they are warm but soft and limpy. I end up not eating it. Other locations I've gone to have fresh made fries, they are hot and crispy. Just wish this location can provide the same.

This place can’t be labeled as fast food if every time I come it takes at least 20 minuets in the drive through line. I would say don’t come here if you’re in a time crunch, but it’s honestly not worth the way if you have time.

First off they got all of our drinks wrong, when our drinks were corrected there was no ice. My honey butter chicken biscuit which is supposed to contain a chicken patty contained one small chicken tender. No lettuce on our daughter’s burger when we specifically said to add lettuce, also asked for fruit snacks and got a cookie. Service was not friendly either as they said we can just add sugar to our drinks instead of giving us what we ordered. She’s good she ate half her burger and all of her fries. Yeah I’m saving theirs. Do you wanna keep the foot-long? You can’t get out on my phone. Staff needs to get their head out of their butts
