Longhorn Cellars is a boutique winery and tasting room in Fredericksburg, Texas. We specialize in producing 100% Texas wines, crafted from estate-grown grapes and select vineyards in the Texas High Plains. The small-batch wines are made on site with a hands-off approach to highlight the unique Texas terroir. The tasting room offers a welcoming atmosphere with a spacious bar and a covered patio overlooking the vineyard and resident animals, including Longhorns and donkeys. They offer wine tastings, glasses, and bottles, and are both kid- and pet-friendly. Live music is featured on Saturdays. Reservations are recommended for groups of six or more.

Half way through our tasting we ordered Prime Rib Queso Dip and chips to snack on. It was a fantastic pairing with the reds. There was no rush and the service was fantastic! We may or may not have left with multiple bottles of wine😉 This winery is a hidden gem!

The wine was un drinkable several people described the first sip of wine as “it reminds me of the smell of the entrance station of the texas state park”. Save your money. There are so many other wineries out there. On a busy Saturday this place was dead.
