  I have to share the outstanding customer service I received this evening from my cashier, Virginia, who was welcoming and kind… She went out of her way to make me feel valued as a customer. I’d purchased deer corn, and the most wonderful young man, Andres, not only loaded it in to my cart, but walked me to my truck. He was incredibly kind, well spoken, and represented HEB well. The level of service from these two has never been experienced. They should both lead training for customer service!

  Great store with an excellent selection of groceries, fresh produce, meats, and everyday essentials. The store is well-organized, clean, and stocked with plenty of options. The employees are friendly and helpful, making shopping here a pleasant experience. H-E-B continues to be one of my favorite places to shop!

  It's a nice place, most of the time. I like that the restrooms are in the middle of the store so you can still get to them while shopping. The aisles are too small for the amount of traffic they get though. Most of the times i've gone they had ZERO baggers, there are random products totally out of stock with sections of empty shelves (despite being fully stocked in other flavors of the same brand), only two or 3 lanes are ever open (customers sometimes backed up with at least 3 to 5 people waiting in line already during the busy times, the people behind me got served when the 3rd lane opened), i know one shelf that keeps being restocked that has ALWAYS been sticky (aparently they never clean). I have bought a product here before that had been sliced open, like a box cutter did it, but neither me nor the cashier noticed, and when i got home the product had made a mess. I did have the misfortune of getting a cashier one time who wouldn't communicate with me about some confusion we had about a coupon. I was confident the coupon matched what i got (same brand, same size, no specific flavor limitations, etc.) and i didnt understand why something would be wrong, she kept asking "what brand is it" and even the bagger started pointing it out to her. I was answering her calmly like any confused person would, not understanding why there was an issue, trying to communicate where i'm coming from "the coupon said this, the product says that, etc.". I thought the bagger was being nice about it at least, like they understood that the confusion did exist and i wasn't seeing what she was seeing. Then she just went quiet, gave me weird looks, and charged me full price without any clarification about what she did. I would have returned the items and gotten the "right ones" if i could just understand what was "wrong" with it in the first place, but i didn't know what she was trying to say by asking the same question over and over. By the time i had the chance to look over the reciept and got my frozen stuff out of the summer heat, i realized i didn't get the coupon and had to go back to customer service to get it straightened out. I got my money back in the end so i guess there was nothing wrong with what i got? 🤨 I get coupons because i actually DO care about a "few measly dollars". If i got something wrong, i would at least like to know WHY, and not just hear someone tell me "this isn't right" and charge me for it anyway. Perhaps things need to be labeled better, you know... in a crowded store, where not everyone has the chance to read the fine print. 🤷‍♂️ P.S. i've been to other locations, and when i accidentally grabbed the wrong thing for the coupon, they ALWAYS pointed it out nicely and offered to let me or the bagger go grab the right thing or just return the item before i pay, zero miscommunication, and totally stress free. I guess i can't expect that kind of considerate service at this location. I think i'll be better off relying on a machine to communicate with me better from now on, and at least in self checkout i can still decide if i actually want to pay for something or not when i do happen to make a mistake. I know i ain't perfect 24/7, neither can the cashier be, but it definitely could've been handled better. 😓
