Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I’m not one to give a bad review, but whoever you have the woman working an overnight time taking orders through the drive through has the worst Customer Service I have ever Experienced. After every question I asked ordering my food as far as saying can I have a number two I get a condescending sure… and then when I tell her thank you I get yet another condescending sure just repetitive Suuuureee that are all condescending. I go the other Whataburger like a mile away and it’s a completely different experience. I’ll definitely never go to the be on western center ever again. Not to mention in the past my food tasted like someone smoked a cigarette while making my food. As I was pulling up there I was even second guessing going there in the first place because of past experiences there. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this location.

As a military veteran , one of the coolest things that Whataburger offers it's free coffee in the morning to all military veteran's! What irritates me is when an employee argues with you about the free coffee for Veterans!

Waited at the screen to order for a little over three minutes without being acknowledged, so i left. Assumed they were very busy, but i got around the corner and there was only one car in the drive-thru. Went over to McDonald's where they had several cars in line but were able to take my order right away.
