Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JDJamey DavisMay 31, 20261.0I had a very disappointing experience at this location. My order included a taquito, a Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger Jr., and a strawberry milkshake. When I opened my taquito, I found pieces of a blue glove inside the food. I immediately brought it to the manager's attention. What concerned me most was the response. The manager, Karen, did not seem to take the food safety issue seriously and would only offer a refund for the taquito, even though finding a foreign object in my food caused me to lose confidence in the safety of my entire order. I also asked for the names of the employees involved in preparing my food but was told that information could not be provided. I have photos of the glove pieces and my receipt. Food safety should always be a priority, and I hope management thoroughly investigates this incident and takes steps to ensure it does not happen to another customer.
