Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, and the establishment is consistently clean and well-maintained. It's the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere that keep me coming back. The food is always half-ass, they actually like they’re mute when they bring your food out and today, homegirl came out swinging the bag with my drinks in it, so of course one fell over and there is orange soda all in the bag and over me. It’s unnecessary to be that level of incompetent.

I was trying to give my order and the young girl, she kept talking over me and getting the order wrong. I told her to stop talking over me and I then repeated the order. The cost of 2 meals were $21.52. I give her $22 and was expecting to receive back $.48 instead she gave me $1.50. The food was less than desirable.

Was told I would have to wait additional 7 min for a spicy chicken sandwich so I chose something else just to wait 10 mins behind a vehicle and another 10 mins to get my order. I also saw that they offer free iced coffee to veterans and the young lady looked like i was making it up and said "I guess". So unprofessional and all workers inside looked and moved like they hate being there. Well I definitely won't be coming here either.

I watched eight to ten cars come and go. Finally parked and walked in, and nobody had a clue about my order. Another five minutes for one burger. Inside was no better. A crowded lobby of people waiting, and several walked back up to the counter because their orders were missing items. The crew is all kids doing their best with zero direction. That's on management. Fix the staffing and supervise the floor." Won't be back. Not at this hour, not at this location."
