Extremely disappointed... How are you not gonna have your employees look over produce.. supervisor or assistant supervisor don't they check there areas... they need to do better..it starts from the top and it looks like the supervisor is doing a terrible job.. this is the last straw.. I'm going to have to drive a Lil farther out to fiesta or something cause this has happened more than once.. even with the avocados. Extremely disappointed😡.. i dont know if you can tell but that is worms in the box with the tomatoes.. disgusting....

Came in at 10:50PM. Only needed a few things, was literally gonna be in and out. The doors were locked and they were about to not let me in but I was adamant about there being 10 more minutes left till close so they begrudgingly let me in. If you claim to be open 6AM to 11PM, why would you not let customers in before then? I was walking to self checkout at 10:56PM, and someone who I assume to be a worker yelled out and said I had 4 minutes. I was literally walking to check out. I checked out and finished at 10:58 and told the girl at self checkout to have a good night and she had a horrible attitude, ignored me, looked annoyed. Overall, three separate employees were rude to me and made me feel like I did something deplorable by being there 2 minutes until they closed. I’d understand if I was there past 11, but even then they were rude. Victoria and Cat were two of the employees names.

The produce has been going bad very quickly. I am a regular shopper at Hulen St Tom Thumb. I am going to stop buying produce if things don't change. I can not afford to throw moldy food away after a few days of purchase.

The worst store I have ever been in. They declined my platinum AA citi bank card like I was a thief. Later I talked to my bank and they verified the card was activated and fully funded. They said it was the store that declined it without a reason. The cashier was rude and lazy. She filled 2 small bags and nothing else. I asked her if Tom Thumb is a bag your own groceries store and should I start bagging she said you can. Anytime you want to you can get started. I talked to management about my card being declined and all he said was I don't know. I called cooperate and was passed to the their financial company they use and they said there was no reason given for the decline. I was embarrassed by the rude cashier and my card being declined without a reason. Their prices are laughably expensive and you have to take pictures of the prices because they are often not the same at cash out. Even clipping their coupons which is ridiculous. They could just have lower grocery costs but how would they be able to sell your identity for marketing to other buyers if you aren't a "member". Tom Thunb is a horrible cooperation. If you go to ALDI at least you know you're bagging your own groceries and you won't walk out spending $300.
This is my 3rd bad experience with Tom Thumb. This is my last experience with Tom Thumb and all their connected stores brands like Albertsons. I closed my account with them and Albertsons today, what a relief.
