Our recent visits to Saltgrass Steak House have been absolutely phenomenal, combining top-tier hospitality with an unforgettable meal. The dining experience got off to a perfect start with Arden, the host who welcomed us with a warm smile and seated us promptly. Arden:
She gets so excited when you walk in, you feel like a famous person or an important guest.
Throughout our visits, the waitstaff truly set the standard for excellent service. A beautiful lady named Kaci delivered fantastic, sharp service on 7/3. To top it all off, Rebecca, the manager, demonstrated true leadership with her super service, going completely above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs.
Trini provided flawless attention to detail on Mom’s Birthday Visit 3/17, (Trini took my phone call for Reservations on 7/3 and we didn’t realize he had already been our waiter on 3/17.)
The food was just as exceptional as the staff. Every single dish came out perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. We started with a crisp, refreshing salad that paired beautifully with our meal. The chicken fried steakwas a standout—perfectly golden, deeply savory, and exceptionally comforting. The chicken strips were equally impressive, boasting a satisfying, crunchy breading with tender, juicy meat inside. For sides, the frieswere hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection, while the baked potato was incredibly fluffy and loaded with all the right toppings. Of course, the star of the table was the Rib Eye, which was remarkably tender, wonderfully juicy, and grilled to absolute perfection. Saltgrass has truly earned our highest recommendation for both its powerhouse team and delicious food, and we cannot wait to return!
What stands out immediately is the incredible team dynamic; this location employs at least 25 to 30 people, and every single staff member works fast, flawlessly, and with impressive efficiency. The dining experience got off to a perfect start with Arden. A different man named Casey was incredibly kind and genuinely attentive to our every need. Thank You. P.S. I believe you need to request to have a Birthday Song Sung to celebrate a Birthday. I thought for sure that they would sing Birthday song to my sons? Did not happen.

We came in last night because it was my birthday and I wanted a great steak! And that’s exactly what I got, Both of our meals was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for better! However, our server, Ron Was not as friendly. We came in about 8:30 PM, We were really the only ones in this section (First booth behind the host stand behind the bricks). From the moment we got there he acted like it was a big inconvenience. We only saw him when It was Convenient for him. He never came back to check on us after we got our food. The food was amazing, but my steak was overcooked, I never got the chance to tell him since he didn’t come by. But please don’t get me wrong. The steak was amazing.!! He brought us the check and I Wanted to dessert. I assumed since he didn’t ask, I could have my dessert there. However, it was packaged to go. So we got the hint, we paid our bill and left.
I am a regular at Salt Grass and this location is my favorite. From the moment I walk in the door, the hostess sets the tone for the meal, especially the bubbly one with highlighted hair. I am always greeted so warmly by her and her smile is contagious. Payton is an incredible waitress and remembered my entire order from the last time I've seen her. That made me feel like a valued guest. She is so attentive and welcoming. Sara, the manager is also so sweet. She made my night tonight with our lovely conversation and also treated me to a cheesecake. It almost made me cry, because that is such a kind gesture. Also Phoenix is another wonderful waitress I've had the pleasure of sitting with. I have yet to have a bad experience here!
Horrible!! Here's a concept for you, and no wonder the restaurant was empty, let's raise prices and decrease the portions. On top of that, let's create our staff around the concept of not bringing out any thing unless it's requested. Complementary bread? Nope, only if requested. Drinks? We'll make you wait until you're dying of thirst so you order more. Desert? This place used to have THE BEST cheesecake and pie. Now, it's like they've traveled with Alice to Wonderland, and everything has been shrunk. HOWEVER, the prices have increased..
I will say, while the server was horrible and only presented excuses rather than proper service and what we ordered in a timely fashion, the management staff was very nice and attentive. I'm not sure where their gap is, but I can tell you that my gap is going to consist of a large space of time where I don't return.
Go somewhere else where you are not looked at as an opportunity to be taken advantage of when you walk through the door.

We made a reservation for 8p and were seated shortly after 8. That was fine. But it was a while before someone even came to our table to get our drink order, even longer for the drinks to come out, and then an hour from when we ordered to get our food. They were out of the prime rib my husband wanted. When my food finally got to the table it wasn’t even warm and my steak was overcooked. So I didn’t eat it. When one of the managers asked if everything was alright, I told her. She asked if I wanted them to remake it and although I declined I did let her “remake” just my brussel sprouts. When she came back after a couple minutes, stew brussel sprouts were still not warm and there was some type of goo on top that was ice cold. I asked what it was and if it was supposed to be cold. She said no. I declined another attempt for her to “remake” but she did anyway but at this point I was so annoyed. I’ve been to this Saltgrass a handful of times and every time it’s been a terrible experience with the food. Our waiter was good and polite though and I don’t blame him for the food fiasco. My husband and I have already made a pact that we will talk each other out of coming here again. Worst dinner experience, especially being Father’s Day.
