  I had a filet, medium rare. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Waiter kind and professional. We enjoyed our visit with Nate the manager, thanks for visit to our table!

  Our experience with the food and service tonight at Saltgrass unfortunately did not start out great. My “medium-rare” Ribeye came out rare and completely cold, the butter wouldn’t even melt on it. The sides were also disappointing, and the bread was dry with a burnt taste. To make matters worse, our salads didn’t even arrive until after our steak had already been served, which added to the frustration. However, I want to give credit where it’s absolutely deserved. The manager, Rebecca (I believe was her name), went above and beyond to make things right. She personally made sure my ribeye and sides were remade, brought us fresh bread, and even treated us to cheesecake for dessert. The second steak and sides were much better, and more importantly, we really appreciated the way Rebecca handled the situation. She listened, took our concerns seriously, and genuinely cared about making sure we left happy. Mistakes happen in the restaurant business, but how you handle them makes all the difference. Rebecca completely turned what started as a disappointing experience into one where we felt valued as customers. A big thank you to her for going above and beyond. She alone is the reason I’m leaving this 5-star review.

  They accommodated 23 people for us. The servers were wonderful. They made sure our food was in order and arrived at a timely manner. This place was incredible. Only thing was It was really warm where we were at. Other thne that I definitely recommend this place.

  I would give this restaurant a 0 if I could because of my terrible experience here with a worker whose name was LAYNEE. Absolutely such a rude girl with such a bad attitude. She didn’t care that we were there and she belittled us and looked lost while talking to us. She rolled her eyes countless times and I didnt understand her problem. Terrible service, too overpriced, fire LAYNEE.

  I only ever heard about Saltgrass growing up in Amarillo and finally got around to trying it out after about 10 years. I’m hoping it wasn’t a fluke, because this was probably the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve ever had! I even had our two toddlers at the table with my wife and somehow it was still phenomenal! Came in for a table of 4 at around 7pm, after hearing a party of 5 be told wait would be 30-45 minutes.. almost left but somehow got seated immediately. Come to find out, most of the tables seat 4. Slightly cramped space, but still nothing to actually complain about. Jacob, our waiter introduced himself, asked if it was our first time at Saltgrass. He made an impression to say the least! There wasn’t a moment that passed where we even had to consider asking for anything, he’d notice seemingly immediately and come by to verify if we’d like refills or anything additional. The food was phenomenal.. I had Pat’s 10 oz ribeye. I definitely got husband and dad points today, the wife and kids were all thrilled. The bill was rough, but we did splurge a bit getting a slice of cake for our son’s birthday. I also certainly couldn’t fail to tip Jacob reasonably! Anyway, HUGE SHOUTOUT to Jacob because he was great and I’m hoping he gets the credit/kudos he deserves!
