- FMfarty martySep 26, 20265.0Atmosphere down graded due to noise...but it was Saturday night...trying to be honest, not the fault of the restaurant that the customers (including my table) are big mouths. Would more sound absorbsion materials help....maybe....but some like it loud. It was a great experience overall...which is what is important. Great service depite the noise, not sure how the staff are able to function so well....their ears must ring at home after a Saturday night shift.

She gave us excellent recommendations, and every dish she suggested was delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, from the appetizers to the entrees and drinks. She made sure everything came out just right and kept checking on us throughout the meal. Her service, personality, and attention to detail truly stood out. The combination of amazing food and outstanding service made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. If you’re looking for great food and exceptional service go to papasitos, definitely ask for Suzie!

I hate having to leave this review because I loved ‘sitos and i used to be a FM/KM @ #5, #13 and the DFW airport location about 10 years ago… I came in this Sunday at 12 to celebrate my sons 7th birthday (we do it every year at because he likes the birthday sombrero and knows “hey baby Que paso” like he works there) and was quoted a 3 1/2 hour wait for our 7 top for first available by the taller black hostess and blonde FM in red. Uhm. What? I laughed thinking it was a joke because I knew that would be the entirety of lunch and all the way to late hits before we got sat. ( all while the hosts and FM were still actively seating/quoting 4 tops and under 15-20 min. ) I was baffled and had to settle for Uncle Julio’s down the street which had no wait. ( as an ex ‘sitos manager, going to Julio’s just felt wrong ) This review is so that you will reevaluate your Sunday FOH staffing to ensure there is not absurd wait times quoted just because you have half the building unstaffed and closed. The banquet rooms closed, the patio closed, the Bar tops and bar empty, but still a 3.5 hour wait for a 7 top? C’mon fam! Pull the bartenders and have the managers assist with tables! Labor costs should not outweigh Guest Experience so if you run short staffed like this last Sunday afternoon, you better be ready to get dirty and help the floor, you learn that at level 6! I’ll be back because it’s the best Tex Mex, but this location definitely needs a few visits from Hooks/Hornes, over the next few to whip back up to par.
- PDPatrice DeLaPazSep 21, 20263.0Positives- it was a busy night but we got right in with not wait. That was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly and went over the menu well. We have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s always been one of our favorite places. However, the menu has recently changed and the prices for fajitas have gotten ridiculous. $47 for fajitas for one? $74 for beef fajitas for 2-3 barely is enough for two. The guys could have easily each ordered that size for themselves each. And what happened to their beloved butter sauce served with fajitas? Gone!. Heartbreaking. And they changed the table side guacamole. It had radishes and nuts and feta cheese in it, and wasn’t made table side. We also do not recommend the shrimp tacos. Bland and cold, with an adobe sauce served on the side, it was so disappointing! Fort Worth has so many great Tex mex spots. Sadly this place has become too overpriced and overrated .
- DHD HaskSep 18, 20264.0Lunch on a Friday. It wasn’t super busy, and got seated right away. Had a booth in the bar area. It seemed slightly quieter than in the main room with tables next to each other. The queso is a little thick, but a really good flavor. Love the thin chips, and the salsa is the roasted tomatoes version and needed to be salted to suit our taste. No heat at all. We got chicken flautas, and the El Sombrero plate (cheese enchilada, fajita steak Al carbone taco, rice and beans). It was all delicious, however half of the steak was burnt. I pulled off the burnt pieces and ate it, no problem. Just expensive to send you a plate with burnt meat. Had a watermelon marg, and it was really good!! Get a sangria floater in too and it’s perfection. Not too sweet at all. Overall, very happy with the lunch, minus the overcooked steak.
