i walked into your establishment ready for an interview and i was left their sitting for 45minutes. what was i waiting for? Two women in that span of time came up to me asking if id like anything to eat or drink while i waited. Excuse me how much longer do i have to wait? what am i waiting for exactly? im not sure who the manager was in that establishment , it couldve been the woman in the blue blouse or somebody entirely different, but besides that i know when somebody has an interview the manager is supposed to stop what their doing and do the 5min interview. i wouldve liked to talk to the manager and got my interview done that day but i didnt. this was unprofessional and dosent make sense to me. if there was an issue from the start it shouldve been known. i know the restaurant was acknowledged of my presence because the hostess and the woman in the blue blouse were conversating and immediately after that the woman in the blue blouse came up to me asking if id like anything WHILE I WAS STILL WAITING. i ended up walking out.

Food was decent. Shrimp Brochette is awesome. The steak fajita meat was really good. After that was just basic. Cheese enchilada was eh. Basic beans and rice. Basic queso. Chips were way over salted. Service was dysfunctional and the timing was terrible. Queso cam out with main meal and only one of them. The other showed up 10 minutes later. The price is pretty high as well. $36 for 6 shrimp is a tough pill to swallow. Not trying to go back.

Overall, love. 1st server was meh. 2nd server was great. Chips and salsa; the chips were good, salsa in not a fan. We didn't get an appetizer the first server didn't make any recommendations and we had already had a wait getting drinks. Food was AWESOME, I had Diablo Shrimp and it was cooked perfect and so delicious. Hubs had Pappasitos Grill, the steak was tender and perfectly cooked as well as the Shrimp. Girls had a burrito which must have been good, I didn't see it after it was placed on the table, it was devoured. Beef fajitas also perfectly cooked beef. Tortillas are fresh and so good. All the desserts were great. Fun atmosphere, we will definitely go back.

First time here for my wife and I. We were roughly 50/50 on the food experience. First of all, the service was great. Our server was outstanding and checked on us the perfect amount of times that allowed for an easy flow of conversation and dining. The restaurant itself had a nice layout with ample seating and outdoors. Unfortunately, the food was 50/50 due to a consistent dish detergent taste across all of the food items we tried which included the fajita skillet and loaded queso. It smelled and looked amazing but the taste of everything was difficult to enjoy. My wife was unable to eat any of it. Although, I was less sensitive to it than she was, there was a clear detergent taste. We didn’t complain or make a fuss about it. We just paid and went on about our day. Other than that, the experience was great.

The nostalgia I get from going into Papasito’s is something special—from the waterfall out front to the house-made tortillas. It’s been a place my family has loved for over 25 years, a constant for celebrations, traditions, and everyday meals alike. They’ve always delivered, which is why this visit felt so disappointing. From the start, things were off. The chips we were served were soft, undercooked, and tasted more like oil than anything else. The drinks were fine, but nothing memorable. We ordered the fajitas for two with beef, chicken, and pork, and that’s where the experience really fell apart. The pork seemed like a low-quality cut, the beef portions were noticeably small, and the chicken didn’t even feel like fajitas—it was just thrown on the plate without proper preparation. When I order fajitas, I expect them to be prepared and presented as such, not a mix of loosely assembled meats. The portions overall were disappointing. There wasn’t nearly enough guacamole or pico de gallo for two people—barely enough to make a few tacos. The rice portion felt like it was meant for one, not two. On top of that, everything arrived cold, including the tortillas—which is especially frustrating considering they’re made fresh right in front of you. For a $70 meal (before tip), the value simply wasn’t there. What we received didn’t feel like it could even satisfy one person, let alone two. It’s disheartening to see the quality and attention to detail decline at a place that has meant so much to my family for so long. We’ve been loyal to Papasito’s across Texas for decades, and it used to be a restaurant I was proud to bring family and friends to. While we may still return, it doesn’t carry the same weight it once did. I truly hope they can return to the standards that made them so special in the first place.
