  We came an hour before closing so we were a little worried about the time. But to our surprise that wasn't a concern for the staff. Never felt rushed. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The server was awesome. Her name is Maria hands done one of the best servers we have had anywhere. The food was perfect. My husband was so happy with the quality of the raw oysters, which by the way he ate four dozen. Unfortunately we only come here for special occasions. But they have never disappointed us. My meal was Salmon Alexander. Salmon,shrimp,crawfish,scallops, and dirty rice.

  We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a solid experience but last night was off the charts amazing in spite of every opportunity for it to have gone wrong. Let me explain why: 1: it is Mother’s Day weekend, we absolutely did not have a reservation nor were we celebrating the holiday, we just wanted a nice meal and we arrived at PEAK dining time. Hour wait. Totally on us. First time ever having to wait in the outdoor seating area and it was a LOVELY experience. We were offered cocktails, the seating was comfy, we were well cared for. 2: We were seated in one of what I could tell was one of the busiest server’s sections and now I quickly understood why they gave her so many tables, Logan is a machine. Not only is she insanely personable and fun, but somehow managed to be incredibly attentive but not overly so. She was an elite tier server and made the experience amazing. 3: we ordered a dish we had never had before (ATLANTIC SALMON ALEXANDER) which has several components that require each type of seafood to be cooked differently. Each one was cooked to absolute perfection. I’ve never had a scallop so perfect and that sauce was incredible. I don’t think I can go back to another dish, to be honest. 4: I made up this custom drink I was craving and Logan managed to relay it to the bartender to make it perfectly. Again. She’s a machine. People asked me what my drink was after it got delivered because it was so pretty 😍 If you come to the Deaux, ask to be seated with Logan, treat her like the absolutely wonderful person she is, and tip her beyond well because she deserves it.

  Everything was great for the most part. But the hostess could improve her social awareness and customer service. She was a lean tall Hispanic looking girl. When she asked if we were there for a special event I said yes it’s my friend’s birthday. She just wrote a note on a piece of paper and she didn’t say happy birthday or even break a smile the entire time we were there at the hostess stand, the thought goes through your head like damn we are about to spend a lot of money here and she couldn’t even bother to with my friend happy birthday. I saw another group was there for an anniversary and she didn’t even crack a smile or congratulate the couple. Like that’s customer service 101. People spend a lot of money at Pappadeaux so you would think that they would have a friendlier person working the hostess stand. She came off as very smug. But aside from that the food was great and our server did great. I will be back for sure but they should retrain the hostess on how to be more hospitable especially in a restaurant like Pappadeaux!!

  Hello good people it's your girl T. Good back with another review for you. It's been years since we last dine at Pappadeaux. My sis choose this place to celebrate my Mom n Law bday. This was an excellent choice. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The waitress was was pleasent and attentive. She was able to give us some great selections on what was most ordered for drinks and food selections!! The food.... ABSOLUTELY 🔥🔥 I'M TALKIN WAKA FLAKA 🤭🤭 We started with the appetizers. What we do that for!! The portions they gave us just on the appetizers we were damn near full!! The drinks was right where you need them 💥. By the time the main course was brought to us, we was asking for to go trays lol. Needless to say we decided to make that one of our go to spots!! we enjoyed Pappadeaux that much❤️ I wish I could have taken photos to give you all a glimpse of the great time we had. I will do that when we go back!! I also wish I could remember our waitress name! She was the best. I love given compliments to waitresses that are great at what they do!! They also play a huge part in a return visit 😉. Thank you Pappadeax for a great evening!! ❤️ As always, stay safe good people 🙏🏼💕

  We came in on a Sunday evening for my daughter's 16th birthday. The hostesses were so friendly and we were sat right away even having 8 people in our party. Our server Carmen was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly and made sure we all had exactly what we needed throughout the meal. Every dish and drink we ordered was top notch and tasted amazing! The fondeaux & mozzarella sticks along with the fresh bread was plenty for everyone to share. The redfish salmon alexander, snapper and filet mignon oscar were standouts! The crab meat is literally perfect! We managed to save some room for dessert too! The creme brulee, bread pudding and cheesecake were delicious! Even though the prices are higher than other restaurants, it is well worth it and the quality of the food and drinks really shows! Great for a special occasion!
