  I love this place and I usually write positive reviews on my Google reviews, but I happen to come in here late about 45 minutes before they close. And I think it's core management for them to start stocking things. While customers are still here, we have to navigate around the employees and can't get down certain aisles. And one girl even dropped a box right behind me, and I backed up and almost fell over. Poor management decision. Can you not?\nWait until the store is closed to start doing something like this if you want people to get out of here on time.I think this is ridiculous , just my two cents

  I really, really wanted to like HEB and was excited to try it after hearing about it from native Texans. Unfortunately to me, its not worth it. Prices are more expensive than Winco and Aldi, the layout feels strange, it smells like rotten fruit and seafood mixed together, and its insanely crowded whenever you go ( I went at 1pm on a Wednesday and it felt like Costco on a Saturday morning). Additionally, I had a terrible customer service experience--i made a mistake by going in the express lane when I had a larger cart. Even after offering to go to a larger lane and profusely apologizing, the cashier declined quite rudely. I completely understand i made the mistake here, but the way the cashier talked down to me and made me feel powerless was enough to make me cry on the way out. Perks include huge selection, awesome sushi, and ready to go meals, but honestly, I'd rather go down the road to Winco where the prices are more affordable, employees are kind, and it doesn’t feel like you're fighting other customers to get your weekly groceries.

  I love HEB. San Antonio’s HEB’s. The managers here at this location are SO RUDE. Consistently. To the point where I now just order delivery because I don’t want to deal with how rude the workers are. I happened to shop in store recently and nothing has changed. They always act like they are being inconvenienced when you ask for help. The female Hispanic Blooms manager with glasses is so rude. The Caucasian looking white haired manager acts like he’s better than everyone else. And the Hispanic male manager acts annoyed when he helps you at the tiny service desk. Oh, and let’s hope you never need to go to the service desk. You’ll be waiting there forever until someone acknowledges you. So disappointed in H-E-B. I get treated better at Walmart and that’s saying a lot.

  Overall I had a great experience going to this place, normally I go to Walmart but I wanted to try this store out at least once. Everything was well cleaned and put together, although I had trouble with this one worker, not sure what his name was but he was tall, had dyed hair and lip piercings... Was not helpful to me in the slightest when I asked him where I could find tooth paste, told me I'll help you in a second and than started talking to another worker and then left. I wanted to find a manger after that but I could not find one. I think I'll stick to Walmart.

  I must say I preordered a cake for my birthday. I came to pick up fully aware I was earlier than expected. One night prior to the morning pick up. I asked someone at the bakery. if I could pick up my cake and she basically said absolutely not. they make them fresh in the morning the day of. and went on to stocking baked goods outside the display case. The display case did show the actual cake that I wanted to pick up. It just wasn’t decorated with my name. She was not very helpful, so I went to a cashier named Kelsey who was very helpful, friendly, and sincere. She found a manager to assist with getting my cake. I didn’t care that it wasn’t decorated. I just wanted to pick up the cake so I could avoid coming in the morning since I was leaving out of town. The manager asked the employee to grab me one out of the case and box it up for me, which she reluctantly did. I’m marking this as a five-star experience because the manager did the right thing and because I was questioning my actual cake that I had pre-ordered and wanting the employee to ensure that it wasn’t made and decorated and she commented back to me, I just wanna go home or I’m just trying to go home. It was unprofessional and really suck me up, cause I was trying to do them a favor. I proceeded to the register and the manager insisted on removing the charge of the cake. While I was upset initially, I am definitely pleased at how everything was handled and the cashier was extremely sweet, and she apologized and rubbed my shoulder to tell me that she was here for me and that she cared. Forever Heb for me.
