I have not been to Bojangles since 2008 when I visited a location in NC. I remembered it being good and boy was I right. They have very unique batter on their chicken tenders and ton of sauce options to choose from. They also serve breakfast all day which is always nice.
First time eating at Bojangles
The chicken was hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was on point, and you could tell it was made and served fresh. It's easy to see why Bojangles has built such a loyal following for its Southern-style chicken.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a good experience. Great food will bring people in the first time, but great service is what keeps them coming back.
Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you're looking for flavorful fried chicken served with a smile, Bojangles is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back.

I loved that it was clean. Clean, sanitary, and clearly well-managed. I was especially impressed by the air curtains and fly-control devices. Not a single flying insect was visible.
This is how food establishments should operate. Preventing pests before they become a problem demonstrates professionalism and respect for customers. More businesses could benefit from this level of care and attention to food safety. Good job Bojangles

This is the SECOND time I’ve gone to Bojangles, ordered a chicken sandwich combo, and when I open the bag.. it’s ONE chicken tender! no sides or anything with it. I understand a one time mistake but twice? The staff was really sweet about it, and made me a chicken sandwich when I came back. Makes me wonder who’s back there doing the mess-ups?
I first tried Bojangles a few months ago in Lorena, TX. I was blown away then. I stopped by this Burleson location a few days ago and can say the quality is consistent in this franchise. Honestly, these tenders blow away its competitors. The tenders are crispy on the outside and tender & moist on the inside. There are a variety of sauces to try. Personally, their honey mustard is delicious. I opted for the creamy jalapeño and Bo’s sauce. The creamy jalapeño was not too spicy. It had a kick, but keep in mind jalapeños can vary in heat. So each batch may be a little different. The Bo’s sauce is your basic in house sauce with a slight sweetness. It pairs well with the tenders. The dirty rice is just right in seasoning for my liking. As far as the biscuits, you may want to order more if you love biscuits. I believe they also have honey you can pair with.
I dinned in. My cashier was very attentive and friendly. I placed my order and waited 30 minutes for my meal. I noticed they were very busy around 5 pm. The line outside wrapped around the building, but most people went inside even if placing to go orders. With that said, all unoccupied tables were dirty with crumbs or spilled drink stains. The floors had dirt under tables. I know staff was uber busy fulfilling orders. Finally, midway through my meal, a girl comes out and starts emptying trash cans, sweeping and I would assume clean the tables as I finished eating before I got to witness that. I’d say, give them grace as it appeared they may of been short staffed. The food is worth the wait.
