Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I've been in the drive-thru for 45 minutes. Each car is taking 10-15 minutes at the window. I've already paid for my order online or I'd go somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. The employee at the speaker and window was extremely rude, completely silent when handing over the food, and slammed the window without saying a word. Waiting ten minutes just to be treated like a hassle is unacceptable.

But said I it’s taken of and paid .and gave him a had full of 2 dollars bills I collect that I had on person .
Not to many people around that do very nice gesture like this anymore . Thank you Adin

No point in ordering ahead and sitting at curbside, or at least at this location there's no point. Just go through the drive-thru. Took about 40 mins to get my order and that was only because I went in. Noticed my food was sitting at a table just needing fries, service for the delay was at a glacial pace. Doing drive-thru next time.

I placed an order about 10:15pm and another at 2:15am and was asked to leave at 6:35am. I asked for a reason and the associate had to ask his manager, who approached me after I requested to speak with him and he immediately said, “yeah, its time for you to go.” I sought clarification on why and his response was that I was “loitering.” There is no sign inside the building that indicates this, nor is there a specified time frame of what they consider to be loitering on the outdoors sign, nor was I given prior notice/warning of an appropriate allotted time frame. I was not resisting, I even started to pack up as the associate went back to get his manager, simply seeking clarification. The manager said I was “overstaying my welcome”. This is not a crowded lobby at this time of day. I would have been happy to make a 3rd purchase to justify my being there, but the associate and manager were unempathetic and rude and the manager even agreed with me that he himself was being disrespectful. On top of this, the floors were mopped with greasy water, also causing me and other customers to slip while walking even after the water had dried. There was also an incident where they gave a customer the wrong order with cold food at about midnight; she expressed frustration and the manager was short and disrespectful to her as well, causing her and her partner to leave frustrated and dissatisfied, as was I. However, before I was asked to leave, I interacted with two young male associates who were kind and conversational, even telling me they allow unhoused folk to come in and charge their devices in their lobby. While very sweet to hear how they help the community, it is frustrating to simultaneously hear how this establishment inconsistently enforces this loitering policy. I was also not disruptive, simply sitting in the corner writing an essay. On my way out, he came close to me and I asked him multiple times to stop approaching/talking at me, to the point I had to close my eyes and plug my ears to re-regulate. I felt as if he did this to intimidate me; he only backed down once I gray rocked him. Only as the manager walked away from me did I feel comfortable enough to project my voice to iterate I would be bringing the other issues I observed to corporate, but was then asked to leave by a female associate for “disturbing a customer.” The manager also facetiously stated to “let them know how long [I] was here.” Yes I was here for a while, yet at no point did the employees relay information about stay times in a professional manner. All it takes is a simple, “We typically allow customers to stay up to (X amount of time) before it is considered loitering. Its been (X amount of time), so we respectfully ask you to come back at another time.” It was just: “you’ve been here a while, I was told you need to leave.” “you’ve overstayed your welcome” “yeah, you need to leave.” I quickly fished my receipts out of the trash for reference then left. Had these situations been handled with more professionalism and grace from management, there would have been no disruptions involving me or the couple whose order was incorrect.
